What would you ask for, if God came to you in a vision and said, 'Ask whatever you want, and I will give it to you.'" What would you ask for?

God wants you to have confidence - full belief in His trustworthiness and reliability to finish what He has started in these three areas. He will make you a man or woman of Christ-like character. He will use you to build up the Church. He will use you to reach other people.

Because I am in Christ, God always comes to me with peace.  He may come with a correcting word, he may come with a disciplining rod, he may come with the conviction of the Spirit, but he always comes with grace and with the peace treaty in hand, and whatever action he takes is based upon that peace treaty.

Are you experiencing conflict in your life?  Perhaps with your spouse or children.  Maybe it is with other church members or someone at work.  How do you want them to be toward you?  How do you want them to act?  What kind of attitude do you want them to have?  Whatever it is, you must model it.

The resurrection of Jesus shows God is concerned about and has a remedy for the man-made problems in his creation including all the suffering and injustices in the world.

The world is a frame of mind and a way of life that is ignorant of, apathetic to, or defiant to God and His will and which is reinforced by the prevailing culture. It's not a list of "do's" and "don'ts" as much as it is a way of thinking that separates people from God.

We regularly talk in Christian circles about overcoming the world, but what does that mean and how do we do it?

Throughout history, many have faced death with courage. From the philosopher Socrates, calmly drinking the cup of hemlock… to the Jewish martyrs under Antiochus Epiphanes, enduring unimaginable suffering… to faithful Christians who sang and prayed as flames rose around them…. They all died with bravery.   But no one died like Jesus. Why did the One who healed the sick, raised the dead, and command...

Paul uses imagery from the agricultural world and the building world to show us what our priorities should be in prayer - to go deep into the love of God.

What about the future of the world?  What about the future of my kids and grandkids?  What about my future?  What will happen when I stand before God? 

How do we know that our belief in Christ is correct?  How do we know that what we teach and what you hear is really God at work? 

Can we be sure that God loves us? Can we be sure that our Christian experience is the true God at work in our lives? How can we face the future without fear?

I am sure all of us agree that the greatest need in everyone's life is to experience love.  No one argues that.  And yet, the sad reality is that many do not experience love, or they experience a distorted form of love.
