All my own AI assisted tracks, are free to download. I do not monetise any of these tracks; I do however claim copyright in all but a few of the lyrics and the music in many of the lyricsI have been writing songs "on and off" since1959 until the present. As a songwriter, I write purely for the pleasure it gives me. I have always been pleased with my songs which have been mainly from genres such as folk/blues, rock and roll and general pop (in the style of the sixties). My musical skills are quite limited and the early demos on Soundcloud, prior to two years ago, are of me singing and accompany...

One Way Road (To Your Heart) 01.02.2025

Felt like a break from the Myths of Arthur projects, this is cetaily different. Its from 1980, I am not sure why it was so short, but 3 verses and a repeat of the hook (3X) for an intro/chorus/outro. Probably influenced by something like "Rocking All Over The World" or simlar. Can't even remember how I would have sung it so once again, all music handed over to Suno. I have no original recordings b...

Merlin The Wise 31.01.2025

I just had to do a second song from my project about The Myths & Legends Of Arthur. I used exactly the sam prompt as with "Arthur and The Sword" but of course the AI would not do as it was told (quite usual) and had to do several iterations, before I got what I was asking for - you get used to this with AI. Anyway, wrote another poem/lyric today (31/1/2025) and this is the track I decided to uploa...

Arthur and the sword 30.01.2025

I played my poem (set to music), Avalon, to a friend who loved it. "Wow, that would make a great theme for an album", although similar things have been done before (Rick Wakeman anyone?) and then he found me some songs by Henry VIII (of the UK) covered by so many people/groups. Well, I loved the challenge. This is a taster of what may come, butthey may not all be classically inclined. In fact I co...

Think 29.01.2025

Another of those long forgotten lyrics from 1980. What's that, Good Riddance? Well, I found the again in my third note-book and put it through the Suno mill. Took a few iterations but found a version I liked in the end. A bouncy sort of pop, rock feeling, you may even like it.

Words 29.01.2025

Wow, something of a record for me. I have posted three tracks today (at least within 24 hours), However, I would suggest that the lyrics are in a very similar style and were all written on the same day in 1980. However, I have treated them very differently in Suno. I like them all , but of course you are allowed to make you own minds up, I have used the persona known as "Orion Vox" but have change...

Shadows Of The Past (remix with backing vocals) 28.01.2025

This track is a remix with added vocals by way of an experiment. Difficult to ensure this on Suno by prompting (at least I do not know the correct prompt if there is one). So I have used Audacity to simulate a three part harmony on the vocals. Although a very simple work around, I thought it emphasised the vocal and was quite pleased with the result. Original also posted on Soundcloud.

Lost in a crowd 28.01.2025

Looks like a day for experimentation. This lyric is one I wrote in 1980, although I have no recollection of the melodies. Probably did not work well with just me and a guitar - however I always wrote a song (lyric) with a melody, to make sure that each verses had the same metre. But couldn't have ever played /sung it veryoften. An idea candidate for the Suno Treatment, believe it or not I spent a...

I'm Down 26.01.2025

Something from 1980. Not my usual style at all but had this phrase in my head and it begged a song. Developed a vamp riff on the guitar and found myself writing a "heavy rock song". I decided to get Suno to work it up as "metal" and this is what it provided. Unusual for me, but I actually like it, hope it tickles you fancy?

That Look In Your Eyes 25.01.2025

Based on a set of lyrics written in April, 1980. I always wrote lyrics and melodies at the same time, but cannot remember the original melodies nowadays. It was never a song I sang often - I don't think it was my style? I decided to use one of my stored persona - but with a new genre and style, good old Orion Vox. A song which I hoped would suit "him". But all is not lost, Suno to the rescue. I ha...

'Til The Dawn 22.01.2025

This lyric was quite a short one, I duplicated some of the lines to lengthen it a little. In revisiting these songs from my youth. I deliberately decided not to do any "heavy editing". I also decided to try to explain one interpretation of the lyrics. (See lyric below) Not sure now what I really had in mind, but in view of the state of the world at this time, this meaning was bought to the fore, O...

Life Is Cruel (Life's A Joker) 21.01.2025

A difficult song to work with, I think because I could not make my mind up about the genre/style. Finally found a country style suited it. I have cloned my own voice for this track, although the AI has included a western drawl. Goes with the territory. I was happy with it in the end though. Hope you like it! It is from March, 1980, I did not realise that I had been so prolific over this period of...

Who do you think you are? 18.01.2025

I wrote this song about an argument between two guys. Could be about anything? But I felt how childish - hence the cover image for the song. The lyrics are not a favourite of mine, but I wanted to try to get some dramatics into the next song. Since was the next in the notebook (November 1979), I decided to use it anyway. And like the last track, I gave Suno a set of prompts and "voila". After a fe...

Seasons 17.01.2025

So the lyrics were written in October 1979 and are the first lyrics (ID 131) in my third notebook of lyrics. It really has been such a long time since I sang this I had really lost the melodies for the verses and the bridge (which I called a chorus in my youth - another useless piece of information.... I felt the lyrics were worthy of an update, and satisfied myself with a couple of very small twe...

The Things You're Saying Now 16.01.2025

Definitely the last track from my second lyric notebook, 1979 original. I was a little worried about this because ot the weak melodic nature and relying on an instrumental bridge. Each verse was broken down into two sections, The second section being a chorus with varying lyrics..... or vice versa, I suppose. Lyric below. Used one of my Suno personas (Randy Matrix, I love that name) to set the gen...

Heartaches 14.01.2025

I was saying on my last track that I had completed updating all the songs from my second lyrics notebook. BUT, I took a last look and wow found a few more songs I had overlooked. Feeling lazy, and hopeful, I put in the lyrics to this song and did some heavy editing; by the time I had finished I couldn't place it easily into a genre. So I took "potluck" and simply hit "CREATE". I loved the outcome,...

She's Got Everything She Needs 13.01.2025

As I get to the end of my second lyric notebook, I am finding that I am wanting to move on. This last song, caught my attention, although was not originally on the list for an AI assisted demo. Something about it today, so I relented. And it was the last song I wrote befire the new year entering the eighties. Very different style to my usuall lyrics, but then I seem to have quite a few like this -...

Spectral Dance 11.01.2025

Although my oringinal reason for asking for a guitar for an xmas present from my parents was inspiration provided by The Shadows (a UK guitar group in the 60's); I never did become a composer. I found writing lyrics much more satisfying although I came up with some very satisfying tunes for the songs. And although I did grow up with a piano in the dining room, I did not realy learn to play with mo...

Baby, I thought I knew you - introducing Billy Blue 10.01.2025

Thought it was time for another blues number and gives me a chance to introduce my latest (Suno) persona, "Billy Blue". Yes I know its a little obvious but it is late here in the UK. Not a lot to say really, always had a love of all types of "Blues" so have been meaning to select a persona in this genre. Couldn't think where this song belonged (did I say I wrote it in 1979) and I edited the lyrics...

The Punk Song 09.01.2025

Well it had to happen! This song written by myself in 1979, was a desparate attempt to end a very dry period. The Punk thing had almost run it's course, and the whole thing was very foriegn to me. But I wrote a song whic stands out as one-of-a-kind for me; never to be repeated, since. Id did get me writing againg but not as often as I had hoped. I wanted the version here to carry on the theme of b...

Mr Willow-4f-1 09.01.2025

As promised a VERY different version of "Mr Willow" (ignore the code attached, it's how I keep track of songs with multiple versions) It obviously sounds very different since I used a female vocalist and therefore the AI had full rein developing the melodies. Wonder now if I should do a cover of the last version using a female persona (from Suno) Well that's about it, I have several other versions...

Mr Willow - (2r) 08.01.2025

One of the hardest issues I find with using Suno, is that there are times when I generate lots of iterations, sometimes changing the prompt slightly sometimes not. I usually try to keep down the number of versions I actually keep on file rather than trashing. Keeping a file system as the number of songs, versions and iterations increases can be a real drag. Yes, I know that downloaded songs can be...

You Were Here Only Yesterday 06.01.2025

Almost upto date with this song, from late 1979, LOL. I did slow down a lot writing many fewer songs in the 80's and 90's. Again I have prompted SUNO with an audio clip of my singing the song, acapella. This allows the AI to clone my voice (but I do have to do it for each song!) and the AI can follow the original melodies. Usually, very well, however it will add interest to a song in various ways...

The wicked magician (Remastered with additional lyrics) 05.01.2025

This track has been remastered utilising Suno AI v4. I was looking thru my notebokks for the next candidate for putting thru, when I happened to notice that I had scribbled a third verse down. It had not been included in the first version of the song generated with Suno. So I took the opportunity, to add the additional verse and remaster, just checking the sound from v4. The song is from the late...

Together (extended mix) 04.01.2025

This is another old song of mine (1978) given a new lease of life using Suno AI, Except to say I was astounded that this was one of the initial two iterations, there is not a lot to say. All I had to do was download it, and I even kept the other version, which was at a slightly higher tempo. I loved them both with this one coming out on top because it was a slightly longer version because the two...

I'm Coming Home 04.01.2025

I uploaded a clip of myself singing this one. At first the iterations were terrible, the AI seemed to have ignored the clip completely. I went thru several iterations and things seemed to be getting worse rather than better. But decided on one more try (very little patience!) and then give it a rest. I had tried some different genres but nothing seemed to work, then I had a brainwave. Was it the d...
