The priests took steps to purify and cleanse themselves and their offerings. It was all in order to please God…out of obedience and love. As Pastor Daniel said, we offer ourselves in the same way, because we are consecrated through the sacrifice of Jesus.

We heard about the children of Israel being told what God wanted them to do…and went for it. They may not have wanted to hear all of it, but just like God doesn’t always give us what we want, He knows what we need to grow in relationship with Him.

Pastor Daniel concluded this study by encouraging us not to think that it was strange for God to require all those sacrifices. He knows the right way to worship, and wants us to grow into living sacrifices, holy and acceptable to Him…living God’s way.
