Any area of my life that is not dripping with freedom is under the influence of a lie. Pastor Becky Johnson teaches us the importance of getting free of any and every lie that stands in the way of us believing who God says that He is. What we believe about God will directly shape how we interact with Him. Is your experience of God limited by lies you are believing?

Jesus came to save us from death and deliver us and make us whole from the effects of sin. Pastor Banning teaches us that any area in our lives that we are not free in, Jesus invites us to be set free. Are you settling for things in your life that are actually just the effects of your life before you knew Jesus?

As followers of Jesus, we are called to live a life of ceaseless prayer. Pastor Banning envisions our church family to be people of relational prayer, where we are constantly talking to God about everything. In order to establish this relationship with God in our lives, we must know Him as a father and a friend.

Pastor Banning casts vision for the upcoming year, and shares some exciting changes with our Jesus Culture Sacramento church family.

Every time we tell others about the works of God, we are sharing about His power, goodness, and righteousness. Pastor Banning is joined by Phil and Sarah Smith to remind us that when we tell the story and activity of God in our lives, we prophesy to anyone listening, and we help show others what is available and possible with God.

Our modern day culture is not generationally minded, but the Kingdom of God is. Pastor Becky Johnson reminds us of our responsibility as followers of Jesus to pass along the law of God, the power of God, and the wondrous works of God to the next generation. It is not a suggestion, but a command. When we share the testimony of Jesus it shapes a generation to hope in Him.

Each of us has a story to tell of the activity of God in our lives! Our personal story of encountering Jesus encourages others and declares God’s faithfulness and trustworthiness. Pastor Banning Liebscher hosts five men from our Jesus Culture Sacramento community to share their God stories with our church family.

We have a whole society built on comparison and envy. Pastor Becky Johnson reminds us that envy and comparison will rob us of the fullness of life. When we compare ourselves to other people, we will compete where we are called to celebrate. As believers, there is a way that we can respond to envy and comparison in our lives that’s different from the rest of the world.

Our satisfaction in life often rises and falls on our circumstances, but we are called to be prisoners of hope not our circumstances. Pastor Mark Kresge teaches us that the secret to being satisfied comes from trusting Jesus in every area of our life.

Discipleship is the process of becoming more like Jesus through partnership with the Holy Spirit in and through our lives. Pastor Banning Liebscher casts vision for 2025, and calls our church family to a year of focused and intentional discipleship.

Church was God’s idea and God’s design, and there is an objective that He created. Pastor Becky Johnson talks to our church family about the call of God given to the Church- to walk in a worthy manner, keep the unity among believers, and get equipped.

Pastor Banning Liebscher is joined by Pastor Michael Brodeur to continue exploring what the Bible teaches about healing and how we are called to live in the tension between Heaven and earth. Ultimately, we have to remember that the Word of God does not submit to our experiences, but rather, our experiences must be submitted to the Word of God.

The Kingdom of God is anywhere that Jesus has dominion, and it is always demonstrated through radical love and power. Pastor Banning unpacks our role as believers who are in Christ, the resources we have access to as citizens of Heaven, and the call to be ambassadors of Jesus’ Kingdom on earth.

If you want to break the power of offense in your life, you have to go low, and stay low. Pastor Banning teaches us that humility is key to living a life of forgiveness and freedom from offense. Grace flows in our life where we have chosen humility, and allowed God to lead.

God doesn’t call us to an easy life, but a life of radical love. Pastor Becky Johnson teaches us out of the book of Jonah about the call to love our enemies by praying for them, and standing for righteousness. God is more gracious than we realize, and He desires that all would know Him!

We must guard our hearts from offense because that is where the enemy gets a foothold in our lives. Pastor Banning teaches us the key to living a life that is free of offense— forgiveness. When we are unwilling to forgive, offense grows and takes root in our lives.

Part of being human is suffering, setbacks, pain, and hard circumstances. In the midst of this, we all have a response that either matches the culture on earth or the Kingdom of God. God made us to be in community because we mature with, and around, other believers. Pastor Mark Kresge, Jesus Culture Sacramento’s Connections Pastor, teaches us that if we want spiritual maturity in our lives, we need Godly community that keeps us safe and holds us accountable.

God wants us to experience abundant life, and our ability to forgive and resist offense is key. Pastor Banning Liebscher teaches us that the number one thing that destroys relationship is offense. In order to thrive in our connection to God and others, we must be diligent in guarding our hearts from offense, and constantly choose to move in the opposite spirit.

Worship is not a genre or a playlist, but a radically surrendered life of obedience before the Lord. Michael Koulianos, founder of Jesus Image, Jesus Image Church, and Jesus School in Orlando, Florida, reminds us that worship requires face to face interaction with God. Worship is just simply giving back to God what He has given us.

When we really value something, we will make tremendous sacrifices for it. Jesus Culture Sacramento’s Worship Pastor, Derek Johnson, shares a sincere message on the value of living a sacrificial, willing, and generous life of worship that is constantly positioned toward the Lord.

As believers, we are called to live a life of worship, and singing songs are a part of that. Pastor Banning reminds us that worship is not for us, or about us. Worship is our expression of delight in God, and a response to His worthiness.

God is raising up a people who are prepared to be able to pour into the lives of others, and draw out the full potential of who they are in Christ. Pastor Michael Brodeur concludes our two-part series, and teaches us how to disciple others.

As believers, we need to be actively involved in discipleship, but why? Pastor Michael Brodeur teaches us that we are called to be followers of Jesus, and be like Him. As we become like Him, we are purposes by Him to raise up other disciple makers who are actively teaching others the ways of Jesus.
