The Bible encourages us to focus on heavenly things, seek God’s kingdom, and avoid being conformed to the patterns of this world. Our love for Jesus should surpass any attachment to worldly desires or pride

Jesus' words “it is finished” seem strange. After all, he was dying on the cross. What had he finished? What his audience didn't know was that his death on the cross was accomplishing something life-changing.
