It includes a strong warning to Tribulation saints to get away as God judges that system. But there's also an important and relevant warning to us as believers today, much along the same lines. As believers in Jesus, we are the Bride of Christ. But all other false religion identifies with the harlot, as we read in Rev. 17. In this chapter, we'll see the judgment of the harlot, who works in cooperation with the Antichrist during the Tribulation Period. It will literally be, "A Match Made in Hell."

One of the common arguments against God's future judgments, is that they never come, and everything remains the same. But mistaking God's patience for a lack of action is a grave error. As we continue our study of the seven churches in Revelation, we now meet churches and believers who were tolerating sin, and whose reputation did not match their reality. They were the churches at Thyatira and Sardis. So let's dig in and see what Jesus has to say - both to them and to us!
