Catharus sings new songs reflecting religious traditions written by Kenan Serenbetz. Kenan is steeped in shaped-note and medieval singing. When Charmin Michelle and Joel Shapira perform, it’s more than a singer with a guitarist. It’s an interweaving of musical ideas.
