This is the final part of our study through Jonah 4. If salvation is free, then why does it appear from Scripture that the Ninevites were saved because God saw their good works? 

God's lesson for Jonah is...? In this podcast we will discuss more of Jonah's prayer time. This prayer is very different than the one prayed by Jonah from the belly of a great fish. This is a chapter which shows that God had a plan all along. We also discover that Jonah knew of God's plan and we see that Jonah really did not want God's plan-- even after preaching God's truth.

1. God's Call does not change. 2. The past disobedience to the Call of God must be dealt with before you can move forward. 3. Salvation comes when we obey, and then we can share His glorious gospel with others.

In Jonah 3 there are 3 truths. We could think of it as "3 in 3".

There are 4 aspects or parts of Jonah's pious and grateful prayer. 1. Sacrifice. 2. Thanksgiving. 3. Obedience. 4. Proclamation. Salvation is of the LORD!

Join us as we take a look at Jonah's first prayer in the Book of Jonah. Notice how he recognizes that salvation is of the Lord. We also take a look at the "chiastic" pattern found in verses 2 through 6.

In this short podcast, we wrap up our study of Jonah Chapter 1 with a brief conclusion. Remember the "take away" from Chapter 1- If God has called you to do something, do not attempt to run away!
