Princess reports that construction is beginning today on the Riverfront Plaza Project's "Phase One," after a month's delay. The first stage of this multi-phase plan begins with renovating the "Green Space " that was previously home to the Jacksonville Landing.

Logan is at the beach this morning, reporting on the post-holiday beaches cleanup efforts. Besides beautification, the cleanup efforts are important for the safety and preservation of marine wildlife, particularly sea turtles that nest in the area.
