SCHOOL ABSENTEEISM - *New this morning, a new report released overnight by the CDC examines the number of kids ages 5 through 17 who are frequently absent from school. The report found, in 2022, nearly 6% of children experienced chronic school absenteeism for health-related reasons in the past 12 months. Children with disabilities were about three times more likely to experience missing school.
