Heather continues with our journey through Hebrews this week with our series - Jesus is better Hebrews 3 (Apologies for the missing minute or two from the start of the talk)

Thomas shares with us what God has done through the life of our church this past year and for all the exciting plans still to come! God is so good!

Hebrews 2:1-4

We start our journey through the book of Hebrews, looking at chapter 1 and taking a reminder for us 'Don't give up - Jesus is better!' Hebrews 1

Philippians 4:1-20

Thomas talks about the story of Zacchaeus and asks us to seek Jesus while we consider where we are to serve. Luke 19:1-9

Thomas talks about what it means to belong to the church and the importance of life groups and Sunday gatherings. Acts 2:42-47

John 10

Thomas brings us a message on Jesus being the Light of the World this advent.

Mhairi brings us a message on Joy this advent.

Thomas looks at Peace, how God made peace with us through Jesus, how we can live with peace and how we show it to those around us

Heather rounds off the Joseph series brilliantly and encourages us to choose our lens before the future comes into view. Genesis 45

Thomas unpacks Genesis 44 and challenges us to ask 3 questions ; Why do we do that? What is changing? Who has our back?

We had the pleasure of Chuck visiting us for our churches 6th birthday. In his talk, he takes us through the book of Acts and challenges us on what the 'normal church' should look like.

Throughout the story of Joseph and the Bible, we see people that make mistakes but God is not done with them. In our own lives we will make mistakes but God is not done with us. Genesis 43

Thomas looks at 3 examples of fear gripping the past, present and future in Joseph's family and lands on the fear of God that Joseph lives with and how the Fear of the Lord is a different kind of fear that changes everything.

The valleys of life often feel dark , daunting and lonely. The biggest illusion that the enemy gives is that that you are on you're own. God never leaves you, He guides you through it. Genesis 41

Thomas unpacks Genesis 40 as Joseph is in prison and facing continued valley moments. His story encourages us to lift our heads, ready our hands and steady our hearts.

Thomas continues the series on the story of Joseph with the reassurance that 'He is with you.' He is with you in the detours, He is with you to help you hold fast and stay true and He is with you and has a plan. Genesis 39

Thomas looks at 3 observations and a response we can draw from the family dysfunction present in Joseph's family. Genesis 37

Heather talks to us about how we can 'squeeze the juice' out of our freedom with Christ. Galatians 5

Thomas looks at the first half of Galatians 5 and reminds us if we add anything to Christ, we lose Christ. What we believe multiplies out in how we behave and following Jesus with our all equals opposition. Galatians 5:1-12

Paul goes to lengths to reiterate through the Genesis account of Hagar and Sarah our freedom in Christ and Thomas asks whose side are we on? Galatians 4:21-31
