This week we talk about some good DC films coming back to theaters, Toys R Us might be back and Paul doesn't care, Lady Gaga's fans throw down with Venom, we kick of our month long celebration of Halloween by looking at 1984's Night of the Comet and see how teens in the 80's would deal with the apocalypse, and Steven wonders what costs more or less than a Bob Ross costume?

This week Star Wars starts to slow (solo?) things down, Telltale Games tells no more tales, we say goodbye to famed Batman artist Norm Breyfogle, we take a look at the history of Venom and talk about our feelings of a standalone origin movie without Spider-Man involved, and Steve forces Paul to think about 1990's. 

This week we take a look at the dark sci-fi post World War III future of 1997 in John Carpenter's Escape From New York (1981), and then we dig into the not so dark future of rolling skating and dance fighting theme gangs with 1990: The Bronx Warriors (1982). Be prepared, bring your own homemade weapons.

This week we take a look at James Cameron's other big 1980's sci-fi hit, The Terminator, and then we head to the far off future of 1997 which is full of acid rain, calculator wrist watches, and arm wrestling with 1986's Hands of Steel. 

This week the Oscars try to tell us what is popular and what is art, Patrick Stewart makes it so on more Star Trek, CW has their Batwoman, we talk about judging a film on its own merits versus 20 plus years of expectations with 2017's The Dark Tower, and Steve asks Paul, which King is it? 

This week Alf is crash landing into our homes again, Episode IX started filming, Movie Pass may be gassed, we take a look back at the second of the Christopher Nolan Batman films, The Dark Knight, on its 10th anniversary and talk about how it changed comic book films for good and for bad, and then Steve asks Paul WWBD? Also, a suprising amount of dog obedience and condiment talk. 

We are celebrating Shark Week by looking at the original event that started it all, Steven Spiellberg's Jaws from 1975, and talk about how that first official summer blockbuster changed the movie industry forever. Then we take a look at not a killer fish, but a killer mammal with 1977's Orca. You will be amazed at how smart and revenge driven one whale is against Richard Harris. 

Hey Folks! As San Diego Comicon happened this week, we wanted to take a minute (or 48) and talk about some of the big news, trailers, and odds and ends that came out of it. So if you love it when we just talk news, you are going to be in heaven. If not, then please forgive us and we will hold a boombox outside your window playing your favorite song until you do.

This week Creepshow gets it own creep show, there are going to be a lot of robins in the hood, Groot turns 51, we are joined by special guest Kevin from the Strange Highways podcast to take a look at the Mission: Impossible film series in anticipation of the upcoming 6th film, and we see if we can put together a crew capable of breaking into the MacGuffin Institute.

This week we catch up about what we did over the holiday (spoiler: we watched movies), discuss if Indy will be alive for 5, Lando is crashing Episode IX, Wonder Woman is truly wonderful, we get in the ring for Season 2 of the Netflix series GLOW, and Paul sends Steve to Vaction Bible School. 

This week we return to our Year of the Knock Off by talking about one the high points of action and sci-fi cinema, James Cameron's Aliens from 1986, and then we look at 1989's Shocking Dark aka Terminator II aka Alinenators, an Italian film that dares to ask the question: What if we take scenes and dialogue from a much more popular film but shoot them on a budget of 7 dollars?

This week Jason may have finally met his match, Fallout 76 makes West Virigina the prettiest hellscape ever, we talk about the HBO documentary: Andre the Giant, and how a man that was larger than life faced challenges most of us will never know, and Steve tasks Paul with figuring out what is real and what is fake at the Mall of the Dead. 

This week we keep trying to talk about Jared Leto's Joker getting a standalone film, toxic Star Wars fans, we are teased by the Halloween teaser, we then enter the All Valley Karate Championship as we face off against season 1 of YouTube Red's Cobra Kai, and Paul challenges Steve to a fight test.

This week we look at the original 1977 Star Wars and how it changed the way people look at scince fiction/fantasy films, and film in general, and then we look at 1979's Starcrash, a film that takes a lot of ingredients from Star Wars but mixes them up and underbakes them to make something that may not taste as good, but definitely has its own weird (and kind of likeable) flavor. 

This week a lot of TV shows got canceled, we say goodbye to Margot Kidder, a troll got trolled, we interview artist and writer Brian Level about his work on The Mantle, Spider-man, The Avengers and how his love of horror is shaping what he is doing next, and we try to bring some new life to old show by remixing them. 

This week Paul spoils God of War (spoilers, start at [04:30] and end at [8:30]), Bill and Ted are coming back for a third adventure, MoviePass probably is too good to be true, Arrested Development gets a remixed season 4, we have large spoiler filled discussion about Avengers: Infinity War, and then Steve sees if he can run the jewels and survive the Finite Gauntlet. 

This week we say goodbye to Ash, try to understand a Venom film without Spider-Man, make super accurate predictions as to what Fox will announce for Alien Day, we take a look at the original Infinity Gauntlet event series and see what ground work it laid out for the Infinity War film, and Steve sees if Paul knows his super hero accessories.

This week we welcome special guest Kevin to help us take a look at two films about demonic  possession: 1973's The Exorcist and 1974's Abby. One is a master class in atmosphere and terror and the other is surprisingly fun and has a great 70's soundtack. We will let you figure out which is which. 

This week Black Panther's reign is over due to some giant robots, Simon Pegg thinks that Star Trek Beyond didn't succeed because of its marketing, Toys R Us is closing and possibly taking our childhood with it, we talk about 1984's The Last Starfigher and how it was ahead of its time and often overlooked, and we do a Sweet 16 bracket of not so sweet 1980's references.
