As the sweet hymn says, “At the cross, at the cross where I first saw the light…” Where darkness entered daytime, the light of the world came forth.

We can do without a number of things and still do well and if we are missing something that will help, that we will add. But is that the case with God and Christ?

No matter how grim things in life may be, God has the answers and provisions if one will but turn to Him—hope is ahead and its new every morning.

Jesus was THE Master Teacher and His Mastering of parables helped many to understand. What a blessing to consider those parables and especially the parable of the ten virgins.

Our “Psalmcast” concludes Psalm 7 looking at God’s continued direction with David, his determination and further walk—more lessons for us this day.

Our “Psalmcast” looks at David wandering with his problems, but a God provided direction brings him through it…thus lessons for us today.

The young man Timothy was instructed to “…continue in the things which you have learned and been assured of…” referring to the scriptures. That same assurance is for our youth of today—it’s the Savior’s Way. This is part two of “youth.”

God is never the author of confusion—His teachings to man are simple and can be easily accepted and applied. Christianity is simple yet powerful living.

From a “Question and Answer” segment, questions about “Suicide” and “Self-Righteousness” arose needing Godly and Biblical Answers. Let’s consider this today.

You know, we can easily call John 3 a “must read” chapter of the Bible. The musts therein are absolutes for us. We “must” take a listen, friends.

“O Lord, our Lord, How excellent is Your Name in all the earth…” To embrace HIS excellence will help us excel!

There are those who believe there was one called Jesus, but many fall short believing in Him. If we know why people do not believe, we will know what one must overcome for true Biblical faith in Christ.

Every family wants a good home life, but it takes effort from every member of the family. Since God is the creator of the home, let every member pursue God’s way—that’s a good home life.

Concluding the study of 2 Tim. 4 seeing the power of God’s Word in warnings toward error and a reminder of eternity. This is the second of two lessons.

An exhortation and command to the young preacher Timothy reminds us of the necessity of preaching the Word of God and its power.

Sometimes the phrase “change is good” is not accurate. But Godly change is always good — one is always better because of Godly change.

It was the Psalmist who declared what God had done for His soul. What can we declare, friends? Can we declare what God has done for us?

The Greatest Teacher of ALL becomes the Master to ALL who obey Him. Those that declared the Christ teach us to do the same.

We take a lesson from the life of Timothy to continue in the things that are right, obviously changing things that need to be changed and both to be done according to the scriptures.

Concluding a three-part study of things for which we should thank God, we wrap this up speaking of victory and overcoming this life. Yes! “But thanks be to God…”

Continuing with part two, we build our thanks for His love and goodness and continue deep gratitude that responds with not mere lip service, but love service to God in salvation and blessings He provides.

The list is long when one stops and thinks of all God has done and is doing for mankind—such a long list, we cannot do it all in one broadcast. We can begin with His love and goodness.

The giving of God unto everyone—what great gifts and blessing await the one who responds in gratitude and obedience. Let’s grow in gratitude with the giving of God!

Paul had wonderful words of thanks for the church to whom the book of Colossians was written. Let us grow from this text to be thankful for the things God provides.
