A blessing of the scripture is growing from being served to serving others—maturing in Christ and moving forward for Christ.

It’s often said to “keep the main thing the main thing” and we need to make certain to keep our lives with Christ in first place and the only place—everything else, well let’s put all that afterward.

The world may say “assert yourself” or “know yourself,” but the teaching of Christ brought forth the loftiest thoughts of all: ”deny yourself” and “lose yourself.” Let’s achieve such heights with this broadcast!

We reach into the precious archives for a lesson by Winford Claiborne, the speaker of IGH from 1995-2014. Let’s see exhortation and commands on the Christian life, especially from the book of Philippians.

Concluding a three-part study of things for which we should thank God, we wrap this up speaking of victory and overcoming this life. Yes! “But thanks be to God…”

Continuing with part two, we build our thanks for His love and goodness and continue deep gratitude that responds with not mere lip service, but love service to God in salvation and blessings He provides.

The list is long when one stops and thinks of all God has done and is doing for mankind—such a long list, we cannot do it all in one broadcast. We can begin with His love and goodness.

The giving of God unto everyone—what great gifts and blessing await the one who responds in gratitude and obedience. Let’s grow in gratitude with the giving of God!

Paul had wonderful words of thanks for the church to whom the book of Colossians was written. Let us grow from this text to be thankful for the things God provides.

“The Savior’s Way” series of lessons on the church concludes with focusing on how one worships, its organization and God given name and identity.

Love rescues; Love is the payment and Love intercedes. How thankful we are that God is love and all He has done and will do for mankind.

Words as seek, believe and come lead one to eventually obey. Many seek, many believe and many come, but obedience is the decision that makes the difference.

“Come to me…” Beautiful words from God, Jesus and the Spirit. And further beauty is when one comes to Jesus, Jesus will answer the needs of man. Let’s study the word “come.”

A confession of faith continues as a commitment of faith. Believing in God embraces all and everything in our obedience to God. “Without faith it is impossible to please him…” (Heb. 11:6).

“Seek and you shall find,” “Seek first the kingdom of God.” In Christianity, when one seeks, one will find the joy, the peace and the salvation in Christ.

We are blessed to remember the radio work of the late David Pharr as we consider a message from the present and a lesson from the past.

Hope that is set or fixed upon Christ and IN Christ is hope that is not a mere guess, but confident in Christ. What does it take to rest our hope?

Inspired words from Moses to Israel in the long ago is a strong reminder and warning for us today. Let’s see other examples from scripture and embrace this teaching so we choose best for our lives.
