Psalm 34 Throughout David's early life he faced many troubles, and often the possibility of death, yet the Lord delivered each time. He wrote Psalm 34 in response to one of these episodes, inviting people to praise the Lord with him. David wanted others to share the joy of what God had done for him. He wants everyone to "taste and see' God's goodness in the same way he has.
