Today we’re talking about a subject that's been overly talked about for the last 60 days: COVID-19. We did a blog on this right when it came out, but we didn't put it into the verbal platform and so we thought we'd just recap what we came out with right at the beginning versus what we have now and where we think we're going in the future.

I have two topics I want to discuss today. The first one is the importance of insuring your toys and your recreational vehicles. Toys can be anything from boats, travel trailers, snowmobiles, motorized scooters, dirt bikes, ATVs, all that fun stuff.

Should I purchase the insurance offered by the car rental agency? It's a big question, we get it all the time, and the answer is you don't have to, but we normally recommend it. This is one of our most frequently asked questions and it gets a little tricky.

Today we're here to talk about one of our specialties. And that specialty is insuring wildland firefighters. And that's very specific. We're not talking about the firefighters that you think of on the big red truck. We're thinking about the firefighters that are in the forest. The wildland.

Let us tell you about the Oregon Birthday Rule. This applies to folks that have Medicare supplement or Medigap plans. In the state of Oregon, Medicare beneficiaries have a yearly opportunity to compare Medicare supplement prices and switch companies. They must keep the same plan type or choose one with lesser benefits.
