Inspired Incompetence

We finally have a clear goal and a plan moving forward. Now we just have to execute it, which is much easier said than done. Here we go, diving right into Book 4 of our Tyrant's Grasp playthrough! Following the path of utter destruction in our wake, and somehow feeling mildly hopeful, we get an unexpected guest with new directions for us. Today we bring you something special. Something new. Two of our biggest supporters, Lord Richter and the Lady of Toast, have decided they want to produce a companion podcast to our little show. This is their first episode, a quick recap of the first three books thus far and an introduction to your new recap hosts. Going forward, these episodes will post in our feed weekly the Monday following each...

We made it. It's the end of Book 3, and we managed to get here mostly intact. We've saved those that could be saved and slain the big bad monster patrolling the skies. Now all that remains is to get on a boat and sail away, nice and simple... Since this is the finale of Book 3 of our Tyrant's Grasp playthrough, that means that next week will be our Book 3 Recap Retrospective Extravaganza! If you h...

Well, Alex is an utter bastard. We already knew that, but he likes to remind us from time to time to keep it fresh. Either way, we finally made it to our destination, MacGuffin in hand. Now to figure out who's going to use it, and how. Minor details. Also a reminder, we're in the throes of our annual art contest! Be sure to create any sort of Inspired Incompetence-related art that you desire, be i...

MacGuffin in hand, it's time for us to play the heroes we've always known ourselves to be! Now we begin our harrowing journey across the ruined city to slay the fearsome beast circling overhead. We're in one of the stickiest situations we've ever been in, and it has almost nothing to do with the ongoing cataclysm outside. One of our own is bleeding out on the floor, and we're not sure if help is going to arrive on time, or be effective enough to help if it is. As always, you can find us on Twitter (@inspired_incomp) and on Facebook to follow along with our exploits, you can shoot us an em...

We've arrived at the last bastion of life in what is now a dead city. It seems some familiar faces also survived the disaster, while others remain conspicuously absent. No sooner have we arrived, though, that we are being sent into the depths once more to mount a rescue. Not to be redundant, but that is one ugly elf. No wonder he lives in a sewer, I would too if I looked like that. Anyway, it's time to put this thing out of its misery and maybe get some answers to what's actually happening behind the scenes in Vigil. After taking the long, and apparently wrong way into this underground temple, we're finally inside and are being greeted by some familiar foes. Well now we have some small idea of what to expect down in these sewers, and hey! We've got two unconscious prisoners to interrogate.
