To celebrate International Womens Day, the Inkstuds were joined by creator, Roberta Gregory . She is one of the most important women in the creative comix sphere. Her legendary series that was published by Fantagraphics, Naughty Bits, was a great example of an artist being able to do a series that is true to her creative ideals.

This week on the Inkstuds hour of power, we took a break from the normal interviewing madness, to talk about comix we love that have come out over the last 6 months. We discuss work from Top Shelf, Drawn and Quarterly, Fantagraphics, Buenaventura Press, and more. Artist that we love, include, Anders Nilsen, Dan Zettwoch, and tons more.

Shannon joined us today to talk about her collection, Pet Noir. Its a great anthology of true pet crime stories. Shannon taps into some great new talent to put together this collection, and creates a great look into story†s of animal madness.
