With AJ out of the country for the month, we wanted to revisit our mini-series on the Four Loves. To start with, we take a look at the natural love of friendship and community.

This week, AJ and Brandon take a closer look at the yoke of Christ. How do we learn from Him the difference between our labors and burdens? How can we be meek and humble of heart?

With Brandon back from a vacation and AJ starting his, we turn our attention to a discussion about the importance and dignity of work, as well as the key to finding a balance in our rest so we avoid idleness.

This week, AJ and Brandon go back to St. Athanasius to see his challenge to the Greeks. Just as the Jewish people lost their priests, prophets, and kings, he points out that the Greeks have lost their magic and idols.

This week, AJ and Brandon discuss St. Athanasius' statement to the Jewish people that, since Christ, there has been no new priest, prophet, or king in Israel. Does this mean that there are no more even today? And what does it mean for us if we don't have those titles? Can we have the mission without the title?

Moving on from Lent, AJ and Brandon take some time to reflect on their Lenten journeys and their celebration of the risen Christ in this Easter season. Eventually, though, it becomes a conversation between them about the need for community, but also the way God gives us glimpses of consolation even in the midst of our desolation.

In their last conversation about the Saints, AJ and Brandon take a look at the example of holy friendship set out by St. Francis and St. Clare of Assisi. It's an important reminder for all of us that, while our call to holiness is unique, it isn't in isolation. We are made to support and receive support from one another.

As they continue looking at the examples of the Saints, AJ and Brandon take a look at a couple of the heavy hitters in terms of the development of Christian theology, Ss. Augustine and Aquinas.
