In The Word

As Christians, we are called to love God alone. This leaves no room in our hearts for worldly passions and desires.

There is wisdom of the world and wisdom from above. Which we follow will change the way we live each day.

Our speech is a reflection of our salvation. If we are true in the faith, we will speak with words seasoned with salt and full of grace.

We go to great lengths to protect the idea of salvation by grace through faith. Sometimes this causes us to forget that God has called us to live lives of holiness and purity.

God has high standards for His people. Even though we are saved by grace, we are still called to live livers of holiness, changed by the power of God's grace.

As we enter the church, there should be no divisions among us because we are all sinners saved by Grace!

The Gospel is the power of God for salvation! When we are truly saved, our live are changed by the power of the Holy Spirit.

No matter how rich we are in this life, we are to boast in Christ and what He has done.

God, our Father, wants to help us live a life that glorifies Him. When we face difficult times, we should ask Him for help.

We all face trials and testing in our faith. We need to remember that God uses them to make us more like Jesus.

Devote yourself to the Word, prayer, and the fellowship of believers this year, and see the Lord do amazing things!

We know God loves us because He sent His Son!

When the wise men found Christ they rejoiced! We should have the same reaction as we follow Him daily.

We have peace with God, our Father, because of Christ and His atoning work!

When Christ was born, hope entered the world. Not an uncertain hope, but a hope grounded in God's word and his power!

Tithing is a sticky subject in most churches, but it doesn't have to be.

In our modern Christian culture, we often lose sight of the importance of baptism. While it isn't necessary for salvation, it is still an important part of the Christian faith and reaches across both the Old and New Testaments.

Paul concludes his letter to the Galatian church by reminding them that our boasting is not in our works or in the cross of Christ!

Walking in the Spirit means that we are to live differently, doing good works. This means we are to tend to the needs of others.

Paul is clear: only grace through faith can save! We cannot trust in any other works, only the cross of Christ!

Works cannot save anyone. Children of the law will not inherit alongside the children of promise. Here, Paul uses the Old Testament to paint a picture of how we are saved by grace through faith.

Paul expresses his concern that the Galatians are drifting from the true Gospel. Like a parent calling to a wayward child, he urges them to stay true to the faith.
