419 million records, tied to Facebook accounts, have been exposed and subsequently taken down. This breach includes 133 million users from the US and included phone numbers, names, genders and more. Stop passing the buck. To say that social media networks should do a better job at identifying terrorist is laughable -- we need our government to step up.

Siri is not immune to having it's recordings analyzed, similar to Amazon and Google's digital assistants. This should come to not surprise of anyone, who wants a better digital assistant -- it can't get better without real people. The issue here is Apple putting itself on it's usual more private than thou pedestal.

Year after year, we hear rumors of new devices and tech and during that same time we hear reasons why they're not good or even boring. This should be a nightmare to every consumer. Sure, having one place to go that has all of your services and apps is great, but competition helps force these companies to be better and allows for movement as we wish between competitors. We need competition that's not mandated by the government but by us, the consumer.

Every since Apple unveiled Sign in with Apple at WWDC, analysts, who primarily cover Apple, are automatically writing off any other option.
