Chances are you've had your fair share of moments of wondering just where it is that The Lord is during your time of trouble. In some cases, it's easy to assume God has better things to do. However, as Pastor JD will remind you in his message today, God takes interest in every part of your life.

It takes a lifetime to wear out a body. While our time on Earth is but a fraction compared to eternity with the Father, the acquiring of our new body will take place in the twinkling of an eye. One of the reasons I don't make promises to my kids is that I know eventually I will break one of my promises. We often think of God as sitting in Heaven, glorious on His throne, and utterly oblivious to everything we’re going through on earth. Sometimes, we need to learn things the hard way. It often takes suffering to realize something we should’ve known all along. What comes to mind when you hear the word “fasting”? Fasting can be a fantastic way to focus your energy on God and what He has for you. But, so often, we use fasting incorrectly, hindering us from God. Today, in his message, Pastor JD encourages us to fast in a Godly manner that will draw us close!

Do your actions communicate love for God? Or would you say that your efforts are 100% selfish and for your benefit?
