God seeks out broken people of faith, not only because the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these, but because the kingdom of heaven will advance on earth through such as these.

The Kingdom of God invades, heals, and restores through one's realized brokenness in Christ.

We're often consumed with worry, trying to secure the things we need in life. But Jesus invites us to put his priorities first in our life trusting that he will take care of us.

Money gives us access to so many of the things we want out of life, but God alone deserves to be our greatest treasure--the one in whom we place our deepest trust and hopes.

The Lord’s Prayer helps us to understand what it means to live each day in the reality of his kingdom.

So often we are consumed by yesterday and tomorrow, but God invites us to live fully present for THIS day.

In our difficult circumstances, God sees us. But He uses us to let others know that God sees us.

Jesus is our gracious King who helps us in our time of need, but to experience all his benefits, we must surrender our lives to him in worship.

God's anger and judgment may be for a season, but God overtakes our sin with his unrelenting kindness and mercy.

When God sees our sin. rather than turning his back on us, he draws nearer to us with a heart of compassion and mercy.

One of the most foundational questions that a disciple of Jesus must ask is, "Who is my audience?" God alone deserves our unrivaled commitment and focus in all that we do.

We struggle to make the Lord’s Prayer a regular part of our prayer life because it can become a religious ritual or old habit for us. But when we pray this prayer regularly it has the power to attune us to the heart and will of God and empower us in his mission in bringing his kingdom to earth.

Jesus teaches us to pray for forgiveness of our debt to God, not the ability to repay the debt. God generously forgives us because of His commitment to us, and that forgiveness is more than giving a clean slate; it’s a restored relationship that transforms us into generous forgivers ourselves.

Through this prayer ("give us this day our daily bread") Jesus is teaching us that a life of dependence on God will free us from worrying about the future, and allow us to be content, caring, and courageous.

As children of God we ought to reflect the same love that God has for all people--even our enemies.
