“Nehemiah, The Man & The Legend” Book Available Fall of 2023 EVALUATION IS THE KEY TO SUCCESS One of the primary issues Nehemiah had to deal with was the staggering wealth inequality.  The widespread poverty in the land had forced many to borrow large sums of money from the wealthy.  Later, when they could not pay back the debt, they pawned off their possessions one by one to repay their loans.  T...

LEADERSHIP: HOW DO YOU RATE? Many have leaders who they call “great.”  Maybe it’s a pastor, politician, famous ministry developer, life coach, or possibly it’s someone they know personally, like a boss, ministry teacher, or friend.  Four out of ten people you meet daily are involved in leadership in one capacity or another—a mother, father, pastor, or corporate leader. However, simply having the r...

NEHEMIAH | PROPHET & LEADER We live in troubling times with political, cultural, and church fighting.  We live in a simply upside-wrong society, where what was once wrong is right, and what was once right is wrong.  Where are the Lord’s quality leaders?  Where are our modern-day Nehemiah types?  Do they exist? We need sound teachers who present accurate facts related to scripture—free from meaning...

THE GREAT WHITE THRONE While the condition of our position during the Great White Throne of Judgment is sealed upon our physical death, many will die believing they are sealed with authentic salvation – when in actuality, they never received the Holy Spirit into their mortal lives. On the day of Judgment, followers of Christ’s principles will discover this eternal difference. An unknown fact to ma...

PROPHECIES. WHO NEEDS EM? The last four kings of the Southern Kingdom were Jehoahaz, Jehoiakim, Jehoiachin, and Zedekiah. All four kings were evil in the sight of the Lord because of their idol worship. All four had devastating problems with the Egyptian, Assyrian, or Babylonian empires. The last king, Zedekiah, rebelled against King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon. After a horrible famine caused by a s...

WAS LAODICEA WOKE? Laodicea was a wealthy city, and some of the people of our church were very rich. We sometimes equated wealth to goodness. We must have been very good people who God loved very much because we were very rich. We were very wrong. In our message, Jesus cautions us that our physical wealth is worth nothing since we are in spiritual poverty. He warns us to acquire spiritual wealth b...

EXCLUSIVE | SPECIAL RELEASE You have heard the adage, “boys will be boys.” Well, today, that is a racist statement – at least within the public schools. Can you imagine a boy being sent home for nibbling a Pop-Tart into a gun or a boy drawing a picture of a sword fight? Both of these events happened. In America’s schools, boys are consistently punished for being active, competitive, aggressive, or...

TOO SALTY FOR CAESAR Due to lack of trustworthy records, it is often difficult to verify statements about history, especially when those statements are written by writers who may be biased. This is an ongoing challenge for those who study the history of the early churches. One fact remains indisputable: the Romans destroyed the Temple in Jerusalem and virtually wiped out that city in 70 AD. For a...

THE SPIT OF JESUS John had possibly been living in Ephesus for many years prior to the writing of Revelation . If so, he would have been very familiar with the churches in Asia, including the seven churches addressed in Revelation 2 and 3. Revelation 1:19-20 introduces Revelation 2 and 3, and these two verses are sourced from Revelation 1:12-16. All seven letters in Revelation 2 and 3 are addresse...

The end of humanity's history is soon upon us. If you like endings with a flurry of incredible events climaxing with a bang – well, you will love how this story ends. I love how the apostle Paul said it. “Things which the eye has not seen and ear has not heard, and which have not entered the heart of man, all that God has prepared for those who love Him.” Not only were those words given to Paul be...

While Daniel was on the riverbank, Gabriel opened his eyes to see “the Son of Man” (Jesus). How can Daniel see Jesus Christ in a vision when the incarnation of Christ had not occurred? The answer is obvious. Jesus has always lived past, present, and future. During the time of Daniel, Christ was active in the counsel and purpose of God; had agreed in covenant to be man, was promised and prophesied...

All outspoken believers suffer persecution in one form or another. These souls are a special breed of Jews. So much so that each will have a DNA that connects them to the twelve tribes of Israel. After the Rapture, God will shift His focus to Israel. Before the Rapture, His focus was on the age of Grace or what the Old Testament calls the age of the Gentiles, which has been in play since Daniel’s...

There is a reason you do not read much about Biblical Timothy’s father. Although, history reveals enough that we can understand this mystery. Eunice was a pure bloodline Jew, and so was her mother, Lois. For reasons not stated, Eunice broke the Hebrew law of marrying outside of the Jewish bloodline – she married a Greek Gentile. Shortly after marrying, she became pregnant with Timothy. Hebrew law...

Daniel had a glimpse into the triune of Satan, which is the Antichrist, the Beast, and the False Prophet. One of the most mysterious is the False Prophet. John, the writer of Revelation’s book, warns us of a dragon-like creature who will present himself as a great prophet. This figure will come on the scene as a pleasant, humble, and self-effacing person whose magnetic personality will seduce many...

Paganism & Easter Easter is a day that is honored by nearly all of contemporary Christianity and is used to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ. The holiday often involves a church service at sunrise, a feast that includes an “Easter Ham,” decorated eggs, and stories about rabbits. As most of us know, the best part about Easter is chocolate. Those who love Truth learn to ask questions, and...

THE ANCIENT OF DAYS Dreams and visions are as common as humanity. Prophetic dreams and visions are astounding when the Lord gives them to His children. However, He gave the greatest of visions to Daniel. Daniel not only interpreted a defiling king’s dream, but he also possessed an ability to connect the king’s dreams to the future. In this, we can see a true prophet of the Living God. In our study...

Why should we protect Israel? Why is a country no larger than New Jersey worth protecting? Why is this tiny country in the global news more than any other country globally? The answer to these questions is found in the Scriptures from Genesis to Revelation’s book. First of all, when humanity insults Israel, they need to know that they are insulting the God of the Universe and beyond. Secondly, Isr...

The Great Northern Bear Attacks Israel Seeing the bear rise on one side is intuitive for bears shortly before they attack. The three ribs in its mouth represented two empirical alliances - the Old Testament being Lydia, Babylon, and Egypt. In the last days mentioned in Revelation’s book, we see the Antichrist separate the world powers into three superpowers. Furthermore, in Revelation, we see God...

Podcast Host | Dr. Stephen Phinney Backing up to the reign of Belshazzar, the king before Darius collapsed and conquered Babylon, Daniel had a vision that he wrote down. At this point in our story, he communicates what he saw. The vision starts with the “four winds of heaven” – north, south, east, and west. These winds stirred up the great sea, which was the Mediterranean Sea. This sea is the wate...

IDENTITY MATTERS PODCAST The Holy Spirit gave Paul a prophetic prediction – that in the end times, people will fade into 18 primary symptoms of denying the power of the indwelling Life of Jesus. The closer we approach the Tribulation of Satan, the more intense the temptation to delude into lukewarmness. Daniel was honored by God to be the Old Testament figure to demonstrate the coming tomb experie...

Get it out of the horse’s mouth. All Biblical wars throughout history claim the lives of innocent people. From citizens minding their own business to the soldiers required to fight for their leaders – all who die tend to be a waste of humanity. As I have studied wars fought for dictators through the ages, one thing is certain: the citizens of those countries didn't ask for another war. While we lo...

In those days, a lion’s den was a tomb, which the entrance was covered by a stone (Daniel 6:17). The experience of Daniel being in this tomb without being overpowered by the lions is the prophetic illustration of Jesus entering the tomb yet coming out through a resurrected Life. The Rapture, or noted by God’s Word as the “gathering up of the Saints,” will soon be upon authentic believers. Dr. Phin...

Dr. Stephen Phinney OVERVIEW: Apostasy is a nasty word. Counter to modern interpretations, it is not atheism. It is the enemy of righteous beliefs. It is an ultimate sin that sends people to Hell. Apostasy is not describing people who reject Christianity or even deny the Truth of the Gospel of Jesus. On the other hand, apostasy, falling away, has a more streamlined agenda. It describes “followers...
