I'm Not Famous

We all, at some point, fantasize about undoing our mistakes. The fantasy is seductive because it removes accountability. It lets us imagine a life where everything goes "right" but without the real-time risk and real-world stakes. What we miss in this fantasy is the understanding that growth comes from not knowing, from falling, from trying anyway. Real change doesn’t come from going back. It come...

Speech doesn’t need your permission. But who decides what’s acceptable? Join me on this deep dive into the modern battle over expression, censorship, and the future of thought. Every country in the western world assumes they have the right to free speech. But you need to stop and remember, only in the U.S.A. Is it expressly written as part of our constitutional first amendment rights. And yes that...

In this episode, we dive into Happy Gilmore 2 — the long-awaited (but maybe not needed?) sequel to the beloved golf comedy classic. While packed with cameos and callbacks, this Netflix follow-up struggles to recapture the charm and punch of the original. The plot leans heavily on overdone mini-golf antics, leaving little room for anything fresh or meaningful. Is it just 30 years too late? Did we r...

F1 MOVIE Honest Review (Spoiler Free) by Im Not Famous

Welcome to The Ugly Truth. where truth matters more than party lines, and peace matters more than power. Today’s episode tackles a difficult and urgent question: Are we being led—again—into a war based on lies? With growing rhetoric around Iran, recycled intelligence claims, and political flip-flops from even the most trusted voices, it's time to ask:
Who benefits from war? And who suffers? I’m no...

A shared language is not about erasing culture. It’s about building a common foundation where diverse cultures can collaborate, coexist, and thrive. The idea of 180 languages spoken in the New York school system is a great sign of the diversity and strength of America. But sometimes I think they forget that this can also create segregated bubbles. Join me as we deep dive into the value of language...

How do we learn ? Asking questions. How do we improve ? Asking questions. Science is not a religion. Science by its very nature is designed to be questioned. When it comes to advances in science and the medical world I believe we live in one of the best times. I am not about anti-vaccine conversations I’m about informed consent conversations. If my doctor tells me I have a debilitating disease and...

Well this is a touchy subject but I take it nobody wants to address the elephant in the room. And since it’s Disney why not just call it Dumbo. And the big Dumbo is asking if global brands like Disney should be involved ethically as well as economically when making decisions. As always I am not leaning either way. I simply point out it’s interesting that a brand that openly supports the LGBTQ comm...

The sequel you never knew you needed but now you want. A great movie the expands on the first. Always a good start when you can bring back the cast and have the same director and writer. If you’re not a fan you will be once you realise it’s like John Wick meets Rainman on a spreadsheet with neurodivergent military grade action. If that wasn’t enough the scenes with Ben and Jon Bernthal are the bes...

News flash. Women in space is not a shocker. Along with men there are plenty of hard working astronauts who are women. And like any job especially one so daunting don’t you think skill and merit should win out over all. Well this story is about six brave astronauts, oops I mean passengers who went into space for ten minutes and supposedly changed the world. Lauren Sanchez (Jeff Bezos’ bride to be)...

And so we enter another summer “blah-buster” of movies. The Blockbuster may be fading away or at least becoming more elusive. Who would have thought Minecraft would be such a juggernaut? Join me as we dive into the summer 2025 lineup which can make or break top studios like Disney. With a lacklustre track record of flops they need a win. Sadly the true drive behind the art of storytelling, acting,...

These days we all believe we are in the most enlightened times. The power of knowledge at our fingertips. But the default setting for many is the idea of “knowing” rather than thinking something through. True critical thinking is gone. Social media is just an echo chamber causing us to rearrange our prejudices. Not to actually take in facts and possibly learn something. The current barrage of Tesl...

The Boring Oscars Demi Moore snubbed The art of moviemaking is dead by Im Not Famous

It just goes to show that the mainstream media and anyone who owes their livelihood to the military industrial complex don’t want anything to change. Orange man bad and any war is a good war. If anyone is keeping score it is momentous for a sitting president to suggest cutting the military budget in half. And to plan for peace talks and further reduction with Russia and china. I’m not “all in” on...

Love him or hate him he is first and foremost treating the role with respect. While giving a ride to a family on marine one the kid asks “Mr Trump are you Batman?” “I am Batman he replies”. You know what. That’s the right answer. Because he knows the influence and importance of the role. Especially when he knows he’s there at the will of the people. On top of which he’s done more in a week than th...

So much has been discussed about the L.A. Fires with so much debate and finger pointing. Truth is there are plenty of lessons to be learned with prevention and mitigating loss of life at the forefront. Did lack of burn off and forest management contribute? An aging power grid over 50 years old causing electrical fires? Arson and the obvious lack of water the main cause? Join me as I talk with a ve...

2025 is upon us and 2024 has been a roller coaster ride of life changing events. And we go out with a zinger as CNN gets roasted for publishing an obviously fake story invoking a prisoner supposedly rescued from a Syrian prison. Only he was conveniently placed there and looked surprisingly well groomed, fed, manicured for someone imprisoned in a dungeon for months. And his Brooks Brothers uptown c...

The one thing we all share is the power of critical thinking. As our world evolves I embrace any and all technology and tools that can help us navigate this world and live our best human experience. But I do hope we always move forward with caution and heart. To ensure our new technological wonders do not come at a human cost. And to ensure our very spirit and soul is not lost along the way. I say...

Taken from my live show “Radio in Motion” this is one of my most personal shows. Seeing a trend these days where Men are being blamed and scolded for societies shortcomings. Many who promote equality tend to ignore half the population as some sort of punishment. Alarming statistics revolve around men’s declining ability to maintain friendships and find usefulness in their lives. Also recognising t...

They still just don’t get it. Historically a dictator does not seek the people’s approval winning in a fair and democratic election. So unless half the country is under a magic spell, then that’s what happened. President Trumo won by speaking directly to Americans about day to day matters that concern them. And the Hollywood propaganda machine failed to covert us despite being paid millions by the...

Election 2024 Trump vs Kamala Making the Choice USA Divided by Im Not Famous

Halloween is a favourite time of year and often a misunderstood holiday. Especially in the land down under. Although refined in old America it holds its roots in ancient pagan rituals and mostly Irish and Celtic traditions. Along with “Guiesing” the Irish tradition of children dressing up and performing for a treat. One of my favourites is the origin of the famed Jack-O-Lantern. For this we will g...

The ugly truth is….life is simple. Do onto others as you’d have done onto you. If you don’t have anything nice to say don’t say anything at all. But the fact is sometimes people say things that others might perceive subjectivity as “not nice”. Well we live in a world of free speech and the fact is you can’t be imprisoned for your opinion. Also a reminder of how lucky you are as there are plenty of...
