I'm Just Tawkin

The World Baseball Classic is essentially baseball's world cup. The New York Mets high priced and, key player to a MLB World Series run gets lost for they year while playing for his home country Puerto Rico. Should MLB stop it's players from participating? Should the WBC be moved to winter? Can we deny these guys a chance at national glory? See what I think.

My plane ride home from a work tripped sparked some thought. I listened to my row mates talk about one of their tragedies. They talked almost the whole flight and it just seemed like divine intervention that he had the perfect person to listen. Take a listen. Nearly 2 years to the day of my first episode being published I reflect. A Giant thank you for the HUGE week last week. Special thanks to best friend sister Jules. Another African-American male killed by the police. This time the police are also African-American.  This sparks different thoughts in my mind about the police profession as a whole. Recruit, train, develop the right people. Limit years on the streets. Anything to stop the targeting, and brutality of law enforcement especially on black and brown men. 

I get to Tawkin about how if we decide to progress in life we havet o realize there is a process in it. We have to recognize there is storms along the way. Another dive but not so deep into a few points about Italian American Heritage. I try and, probably unsuccessfully, to point out the Italian diaspora has something to do with our Americanized version of our Heritage. I experienced this in reverse moving to Italy from America. Quick updates on Vince McMahon his legal issues and his retirement. The released footage of the officers doing NOTHING. My reflections pf when I turned 18. 

Is anyone surprised McMahon allegedly assaulted woman then paid them and got them to sing an NDA? If art imitates life it's not that far fetched.

I am not entirely certain this comes across the way it should. I try to answer whether or not  we have reason to celebrate Independence day this year given the huge SCOTUS decision leaves woman with a lack of independence. 

Why the supreme court even revisited the case in the first place is beyond me. Just listen as I try to make sense of something we shouldn't even need to make sense of.
