My dear friend Angela Jackson joined me in discussing Christianity from a non-Christian perspective. Angela grew up in a Christian household that was not kind to her. Her story happnes too often, where children of hypocritical Christian parents, drive their kids away from the faith. Angela and I discuss how American Christianity is engaging with Americans from all walks of life.

I wanted to continue my conversation with Pastor Mark on trust. In particular what it costs us to trust God. How difficult it is to trust God unconditionally. And the blessing that comes from trusting God.

All Christians have heard of unconditional love. God also wants unconditional trust from us. This is so hard to do. It requires sacrifice, faith, and obedience. The price is heavy for each of us to pay. But it's what we need to do, to align our life with God's plan. Mark and I start a conversion in trusting God.

We all have dreams, goals, and ambitions. How do we align them with God's plan for us? What do we do when our aspirations are different than God's plan? Surrendering to God and sacrificing our dreams can be incredibly painful. Is it true that God's dreams for us are even bigger? How can we place our trust in that? We discuss these questions and much more on today's episode.
