What does the Lord mean in Jeremiah 31:34 when he says, "I will remember their sin no more"? Romans 2:6 says, "He will render to each according to his works." 1 Corinthians 3:10-15 speaks of judgment involving rewards or the loss thereof. Scripture speaks of not grieving the Holy Spirit. It seems like sin would have to be remembered in order to judge works, give rewards, or to be grieved.

The hypocrisy of the Pharisees manifested itself in the way they judged others. They would often heap heavy judgments and criticisms on others when they themselves were practicing the same things. Sinner, Christ is willing to receive you. God commands you to repent. You do not have a right to go to hell. The only way anybody perishes and goes to hell is against God's revealed will. You have to trample the blood of Jesus Christ to go to hell and you have no right to do it. God forbids you from doing it. God commands you to repent that you might have life.
