I Remember Liking That Movie
We chose a movie we haven’t seen in decades. I mean, we’re talking 20 to 30 years. First, we examine the box office, the poster, the trailer, and our wildly inaccurate memories of this long-lost relic. Then we watch it again and review it. Sometimes it still slaps. Sometimes it faceplants. Hard.

Send us a text Do you remember the Shining from 1980? Of course, you do. "Redrum", "Give me the Bat", "Here's Johnny" and all that good stuff fabricated as a result of a family in isolation for months and slowly going crazy because the place is Haunted and the Father is an Alcoholic. Who hasn't spent a winter vacation like that at one point in their life? Join us as we go back and watch Stanley K...
Edward Scissorhands (1990) A Modern Fairytale with a Grade ’A’ Horse Sh*t Ending! 16.02.2025 1:00:06
Send us a text Do you remember Edward Scissorhands from Director Tim Burton? We do. Even the person here who hasn't ever watched it remembers it. It stars Johnny Depp, Winona Ryder & Dianne Wiest. It helped define the 90s and has become a part of pop culture, referenced in countless ways from cartoons and magazines and even an episode of Seinfeld. It also stars Anthony Michael Hall, Alan Arkin...

Ski Patrol (1990) A Raunchy 90s Comedy rated PG 02.02.2025 1:09:03
Send us a text Do you remember Ski Patrol from 1990? We do. Or we thought we did. We got a few ski movies mixed up into one hodge-podge memory. So join us as we go back to 1990 and watch a raunchy comedy with no raunch from the makers of Police Academy. Not the first Police Academy. The later ones. It should be awesome. Do You Remember Liking This Movie?
The Colony (2013) Low Budget Cannibal Horror Fest or Cannibal #2 (that would be Cannibal poop) 25.01.2025 50:56
Send us a text Do you remember the Colony from 2013? It starred Laurence Fishburne, Bill Paxton, and that kid from the Air Bud movies. Don't worry, we don't remember a lot about this movie either, and since it hasn't been that long since its release, we're kind of worried as to why we haven't rewatched it or why we can't remember a whole lot from it. But we do remember that this film has a lot of...
The Mighty Ducks (1992) Quack! Quack! Quack... you get where we’re going with this 18.01.2025 1:02:06
Send us a text OMG! Remember the Might Ducks? If you were a kid in the 90s you almost certainly remember the Mighty Ducks. If you were an adult, you probably couldn't believe they were adding an NHL team based on a freaking Disney Film. Either way, it stars the great Emilio Estevez, the guy that plays Foggy in the awesome Daredevil series, and that other guy who would become Pacy "the Milf Slayer"...
Assault on Precinct 13 (2005) Kick Ass Remake or just an Assault on our Intelligence? 10.01.2025 56:17
Send us a text Remember Assault on Precinct 13? No, not the cult classic from the 70s, the remake from 2005. We remember liking it, what with its ultra-violent action, cat-and-mouse plot, and a stacked class including Laurence Fishburne, Ethan Hawke, and that chick from Sopranos. So join us as we go back to the early 2000s and watch an action movie we remember liking. Do You Remember Liking This M...
Rollerball (2002) To borrow from a more successful Podcast, ”How Did This Get Made?” 05.01.2025 1:06:15
Send us a text Remember Rollerball from 2002? Of course you don't, most victims block out trauma so as not to relive it over and over. This car wreck of a movie comes in at over 70 million dollars, a decent cast, and a capable director but still manages to make one of the most horrendous action movies of the early 2000s. This one has been on our shelf for a few months as a backup episode should an...
2024 Review 31.12.2024 1:15:36
Send us a text We are going through all the movies we watched to find the best of the best that we have reviewed. We're also looking for the worst of the worst. The best over-the-top actor. The best one-liners or dialogue, whichever comes first. We reviewed a lot of movies we remembered liking this year. Some were just as good and some didn't even come close. Do You Remember Liking This Movie?
Jack Frost (1998) with a Hallmark Bonus 22.12.2024 51:01
Send us a text Do you remember Jack Frost from the 90s? We don't because neither of us watched this movie. It had a big budget, big starts, and big effects. So what stopped us from wanting to see it back then? Well, we're about to find out as we go back and watch Jack Frost starring Batman, we mean Micheal Keaton and Kelly Preston. As a bonus, we also watched Hallmark's "Good Morning Christmas" st...
Santa Claus the Movie (1985) The Christmas gift no one asked for but got anyways 15.12.2024 1:04:25
Send us a text Do you remember Santa Claus the Movie? This 1985 movie had an astronomical budget for its time. It cost more than Back to the Future, Goonies, and Witness combined. So why has one of the most expensive and elaborate movies of 1985 just faded from our memory? Well, we're about to find out! Join us as we go back to 1985 and watch Dudley Moore and John Lithgow bring us all some Christm...
P2 (2007) Fun Xmas Horror Or Just Horrifyingly Awful? 08.12.2024 56:22
Send us a text Do you remember the 2007 Christmas Thriller P2? It's a nightmare scenario as old as the creation of parking garages. This finds Rachel Nichols alone in a parking garage on Christmas Eve and Wes Bentley as the creepy security guard who hunts her throughout the movie. We remember the movie being good for such a simplistic plot. So join us as we return to 2007 and watch a Christmas Thr...
Mixed Nuts (1994) Umm... What? 01.12.2024 56:59
Send us a text Do you remember the Christmas movie Mixed Nuts from 1994? We remember almost nothing about this movie, and with a stacked cast like this—Steve Martin, Madeline Kahn, Anthony LaPaglia, Juliette Lewis, Liev Schreiber, Rita Wilson, and Adam Sandler, to name just a few—we are worried about why we haven't seen it since the 90s. We hope it was ahead of its time and is a lost Holiday Gem b...
Lethal Weapon (1987) 80’s Christmas Star or Lump of Coal 23.11.2024 1:16:02
Send us a text Did you know Lethal Weapon takes place in L.A. during Christmas? Neither did we. But now that we do, we couldn't be more excited. We remember Riggs being certifiably crazy and doing a Three Stooges impression while Murtaugh complains about being too old to do pretty much anything. But you throw some Gary Busey in there and we'll grab the eggnog and head back to 1987 for one the most...
Mindhunters (2004) Engaging Smart Thriller or Plotless Demoralizing Drudgery? 17.11.2024 1:30:42
Send us a text Do you remember 2004's Mindhunters starring Val Kilmer, Christian Slater & LL Cool J. Throw in some Ms. "Cold Case" herself (Kathryn Morris), Eion Baily & Jonny Lee Miller and you got yourself a Nostalgia Salad. Based or stolen (we're not sure) on an Agatha Christie novel and every murder mystery film that came before it, we remember an edge of your seat who dunnit with some...
Idiocracy (2006) Comedy or Upcoming Documentry? 10.11.2024 1:15:13
Send us a text Remember Idiocracy from 2006? No one heard of it when it hit theaters because the studio practically abandoned it but then it became a smash hit when released for rental. The funny thing is, people see it more as an ever-evolving transition from a comedy film to a sad documentary. We find that funny too. So join us as we go back to 2006 and see just how much the movie is getting ri...
House On Haunted Hill (1999 & 1959) Two movies, same plot, way different outcomes 03.11.2024 1:40:46
Send us a text We are going back to look at "House on Haunted Hill" from 1999 & 1959 respectively. One movie was coined as "Emergo" which meant mixing real F/X and stunts in the movie theater, while the other was at the beginning of a new wave of CGI mixed with stylized gore & metal/techno music. So join us as we watch two very different movies with the same name and plot. We cannot wait....
Bonus: Halloween II Trivia 27.10.2024 30:55
Send us a text Join us as we take a look at some behind-the-scenes trivia for Halloween II. There was a lot of miscommunication, he said she said, interference, and on top of all of that, a future superstar (to us anyway) making their first film appearance. Do You Remember Liking This Movie?
Halloween II (1981) More Michael, More Loomis, More Laurie, More HALLOWEEN 27.10.2024 1:24:10
Send us a text Do you remember Halloween II from 1981? This one was panned for being less scary, more gory, and a ton more blood. We don't see the problem with any of that but people back in 81 did. We don't remember much about this movie, other than it takes place right where the original ended. It also takes place in a hospital and Jamie Lee Curtis got a bigger paycheck and basically laid in a h...
A Nightmare On Elm Street 2: Freddy’s Revenge (1985) Revenge, Possessions & a whole lot of GAY! 20.10.2024 1:24:15
Send us a text We don't remember much about this movie, only that it went in a different direction than the others for better or worse. It had a more serious tone and Freddy wasn't as chatty as usual. We also don't remember that since its release this movie has become a bit of a Gay/Horror cult classic. We'll be honest, this went right over our heads. To be fair, the last time we saw this movie, w...
Bonus: Freddy’s Revenge Trivia 20.10.2024 21:54
Send us a text Wow, there is a lot to unpack with this movie. They didn't even hire Robert Englund. They didn't use any of the music from the original, which every other film in the series does. They redid Freddy's look. New Line Cinema had a lot riding on this film, like everything, and much much more. Do You Remember Liking This Movie?
Bonus: Addams Family Trivia 13.10.2024 21:46
Send us a text Join us as we go beyond the movie and look at some trivia from "The Addams Family". We learn that Christopher Lloyd was not the first choice for Fester and that some of the other actors being considered were eyebrow raising. Morticia might have been another famous actress had she not wanted to do another movie where she would meet her future husband and the way this movie came to be...
The Addams Family (1991) 13.10.2024 1:06:15
Send us a text Do you remember the Addams Family from 1991? We remember it looking great; the cast was great and quite funny. But that was 30-plus years ago and we were just kids. Join us as we go back to the 90s and watch this family box office smash with a stacked cast and a look that made us think that Tim Burton himself made it. Was it a homage to the '60s TV series we watched on reruns after...
Return of the Living Dead Part II (1988) More Brains, More Zombies, More Fun? 06.10.2024 59:24
Send us a text Remember the Return of the Living Dead part 2? We saw it as kids and we saw it a lot. But once we got older the original dominated our viewing. Was it because part 2 was hard to find on TV or it didn't hold a candle to the original? We remember it resembled the first one, James Karen & Thom Mathews make a return in a weird connection to the original. We also remember "Get the da...
Bonus: Return of the Living Dead Part II Trivia 06.10.2024 12:10
Send us a text Join us as we go behind the scenes of this Zombie Sequel and find out that some actors and crew did not enjoy their experience. A director who didn't want to direct another horror movie and some extras who were in real danger of contracting the real "Zombie Disease". WTF? Do You Remember Liking This Movie?
