I Finally Watched...

Get ready for March Monster Movie Madness Month!!! We are doing the whole Monster Universe to work up to the release of Godzilla X Kong The New Empire and we starting off with, of course, Godzilla (2014)! We genuinely liked it and can't wait for you to hear us talk about it! Enjoy!   Music by: jessejacethomas.bandcamp.com Website: www.ifinallywatchedpodcast.com Socials X: @finallywatched

To round out our Denzel films this month, we end with Déjà Vu. And to be honest we were reserved in this decision due to past experience, but realized we haven't actually given this film a fair chance and now we love it! Hope you feel the same about this review!   Music By: jessejacethomas.bandcamp.com

Possibly one of Denzel's most famous roles, Training Day was known to us growing up as a very brutal explicit film, but now watching it in our thirties... not as gory as we once thought! Here's one of our favorites!   Music by: jessejacethomas.bandcamp.com

An underrated and less known Denzel film for this entry, The Siege is about a war on US turf about terrorist attacks from the Middle East 3 years before 9/11. Lots of controversy surrounding this film, but very entertaining and of course Denzel is in-between some very bad people.     Music by: jessejacethomas.bandcamp.com Website: www.ifinallywatchedpodcast.com

Loosely based on a 1980's TV show, The Equalizer stars Denzel Washington, just like every other episode we are doing this month! Welcome to Denzel February!! The Equalizer doesn't seem like something Denzel Washington would do, especially once you know that this turned out to be a trilogy! But there are some great moments in this film! Listen and enjoy!   Music by: jessejacethomas.bandcamp.com   W...

Last movie of the Spike Lee month and what a sendoff! What a banger!! Possibly our favorite Spike movie to date! What did you think of BlacKkKlansman? Did you think it was socially impactful and/or controversial? Let us know and we hope you enjoy listening to this episode! Next up is a month of Denzel!     Music by: jessejacethomas.bandcamp.com Website: www.ifinallywatchedpodcast.com Socials X: @f...

As we are coming close to wrapping up Spike month, we view an underrated film of Spike's... Miracle at St. Anna (2008) Not without some flaws, this goes down as one of our favorite Spike Lee films and its one we will be recommending time and time again! Controversy, overreacting, and a comparison to Quentin Tarantino's Inglourious Basterds, you can't go wrong with this review! Enjoy!   Music by: j...

Continuing Spike Lee Month is his post 9/11 film 25th Hour is about a man who's about to be sent to prison for drug dealing and his final hours as a free man. Amazing cast and great dialogue however this film does not feel like a Spike film. Let us know what you thought! Enjoy the review!!   Music by: jessejacethomas.bandcamp.com Website: www.ifinallywatchedpodcast.com Socials: @finallywatched

Another Spike Lee joint! And this time its the documentary thriller, Malcolm X starring Denzel Washington as the seemingly extremist African-American activist! Such a good film that lets me know I really knew nothing about Malcolm X before this... I hope you enjoy our review! Music by: jessejacethomas.bandcamp.com Website: www.ifinallywatchedpodcast.com

We found a great way to kick off the New Year and that is to make January Spike Lee month of movies!! Starting off with Do the Right Thing (1989) What an unexpected twist of tone from this film and as a couple of guys who have never seen it, it really caught us off guard! We hope you enjoy our review and the whole Spike Lee month! Music By: jessejacethomas.bandcamp.com www.ifinallywatchedpodcast.c...

Merry Christmas to all who celebrate and Happy Holidays! For our yearly tradition of Christmas Movies That Are Not Really Christmas Movies, we present... So we remedied it with our review of Rocky! Enjoy! AAADDRRRIANNNN...

Possibly one of the best movies we've done all year and definitely one of the best post apocalypse sci-fi movies that ever existed! Children of Men is a harsh pseudo reality sci-fi that sadly maybe isn't too far away in our reality in the distant year of 2027. Relax and enjoy our review of Children of Men (2006)   Music by: jessejacethomas.bandcamp.com Website: www.ifinallywatchedpodcast.com @fina...

A movie that has won so much at The Academy Awards! And we deserved too, sureee maybe some of this movie didn't age as well as it could, but this movie is a monument within this century and I think pretty much everyone has heard of Slumdog Millionaire (2008) Thanks for joining us yet again for another December film that we've already seen in the past, but it's December so we are treating ourselves...

You Were Never Really Here (2017) is an amazing underrated crime/thriller starring Joaquin Phoenix and from start to finish it has you on the edge of your seat! Welcome to December, a month full of David and Alain's favorite films, that for one month only they break the style of IFW Podcast to review movies they Have already watched! This is a great film and we highly recommend it!      Music by:...

LAWYER EXPLAINS MY COUSIN VINNY! Having never fully seen My Cousin Vinny (1992), David finally sat down and watched it and enjoyed it a lot! Of course he did because it's such a classic! And David, being a lawyer himself, really explained a lot to Alain exactly the legal jargon that went on in one of the most accurate legal portrayals in a film ever!  Hope you guys enjoy this week's episode!   Mus...

As far as time travel movies go, Frequency (2000) by far is one of the better ones, but it doesn't follow the same rules as other time travel films, like Back to the Future, but the way they deal with consequences of time travel is quite original and fascinating! Check out what we have to say in this week's episode!!!   Music by: jessejacethomas.bandcamp.com Website: www.ifinallywatchedpodcast.com

We always get together and watch one of the Screams and now for the third year in a row, we back at it again with Scream 3! We always try to guess who the killer is in the middle of the movie, but this one really had us stumped! Listen to us reminisce here!   Music by: jessejacethomas.bandcamp.com X: @finallywatched

Is it real, is it made up? Is it Maybelline?! What did you thin when this movie first came out? Do you think it still has the same effect as it did back then? The Blair Witch Project (1999) changed cinema horror as we knew it and... would you consider this a mockumentary?? Also, did anyone see or even like the 2016 remake?? Did David??     Music by: jessejacethomas.bandcamp.com Website: www.ifinal...

Alien³ had trouble all through its production, so much so there are two very different cuts of the film and we extensively went through ALL the differences between the Theatrical and Assembly cut and it was rough, but we actually kinda liked the film! Join us as we traverse the all male prison in search of an actually good film in this weeks episode of I Finally Watched...!   _____________________...
