I Finally Watched...

Continuing our Sequel Month in Action Summer, we have a lesser desired sequel; Speed 2. The biggest let down in this one is that there is no Keanu, HOWEVER Willem Dafoe is in this and he's the best thing about this film! Oh and Sandra Bullock is in this too! Enjoy!   Music: https://jessejacethomas.bandcamp.com/album/want Coffee Affiliate Link: https://www.bonescoffee.com/ifinallywatched CODE: IFIN...

Another Friday, another 13th, and as you can guess... another Friday the 13th film. This is The Final Chapter, but nothing is final about this! Often regarded as the best entry to the series, we tear this film apart limb from limb, trying to figure out where the series goes from here! Enjoy!     Music: https://jessejacethomas.bandcamp.com/album/want Coffee Affiliate Link: https://www.bonescoffee.c...

Die Hard 2. Die Harder is one of those sequels that copied the best things about its predecessor, but not by much. Its really enjoyable, however I don't believe anything beats the original! Enjoy the review!      Music: https://jessejacethomas.bandcamp.com/album/want Coffee Affiliate Link: https://www.bonescoffee.com/ifinallywatched CODE: IFINALLYWATCHED Create your podcast today! #madeonzencastr

We couldn't resist! Not only is this a review of the new Mission: Impossible (SPOILER WARNING) that just came out starring Tom Cruise! But this also contains our ranking of all 8 MI films! Kicking off Sequel Month of The Summer of Action, we continue with the saga of Rambo with Rambo: First Blood Part II We here at I Finally Watched pride ourselves with seamless continuity and flow for our episodes, except when we don't. With Rambo 2 we continue the action and story of John Rambo and this time he's going back to Vietnam to rescue a few POWs from Russians??! Enjoy!   Music: https://j...

Don't be mistaken! This is none other than the first Rambo film! We had to end Action Month with Stallone and what better way other than with Rambo! This film is based off a book and it took some liberties with the sequels! Speaking of sequels, this film is the perfect header into Sequel Month part of our Action Movie Summer! What better way to start that with none other than Rambo : First Blood P...

What's the first film you think of when you hear the name Jackie Chan? I think a common answer would be Rush Hour, maybe Shanghai Noon or The Tuxedo?? It should be Rumble in the Bronx, the movie that launched Chan's career to the Americas! We enjoyed this so much we might do more Jackie Chan and martial arts movies in general! Enjoy!   Music: https://jessejacethomas.bandcamp.com/album/want Coffee...

Second in command in our action movie lineup is a Jean Claude Van Damme film, Lionheart (1990). About a French Legionnaire that travels to LA to help his deceased sister-in-law and her daughter! On the way though he runs into a secret underground fighting ring and trouble follows! This is peak Van Damme! and though its not Bloodsport, we had fun talking about this one! Enjoy!   Music: https://jess...

Action Movie Month is upon us! AND BETWEEN YOU AND ME, REALLY THE REST OF SPRING AND SUMMER IS ACTION FILMS GALORE! And how can we celebrate action movies without starting with Schwarzenegger,  !  We review Commando, which has a lot more comedy than I anticipated and a lot more funny one-liners! Big GUNS, Big MUSCLES and Big FUN! We hope you enjoy!     Music: https://jessejacethomas.bandcamp.com/a...

In this exciting Bonus Episode we talk about Ryan Coogler's new film, Sinners! We both watched this in IMAX and we have to say it was totally worth it! We hope you enjoy another episode of "We Just Watched..." and don't forget to follow us on X (Twitter) and Instagram! @ifinallywatched     Music: https://jessejacethomas.bandcamp.com/album/want Coffee Affiliate Link: https://www.bonescoffee.com/ifi...

A young Russel Crowe is something to rave about! I mean early 2000s, he's had quite a run. Back to back with Gladiator and A Beautiful Mind and many others. This week we focus on A Beautiful Mind, think of it as a pre-Oppenheimer but much shorter! Enjoy this Ron Howard directed biopic!   Music: https://jessejacethomas.bandcamp.com/album/want Coffee Affiliate Link: https://www.bonescoffee.com/ifina...

The film that makes every film bro want to be a CPA is back for its sequel, but Alain has never seen The Accountant (2016) So before he can jump into the sequel, I Finally watched has to jump into the first one! Starring Ben Affleck, J.K> Simmons, and Jon Berthnal... I mean Bernthal!     Music: https://jessejacethomas.bandcamp.com/album/want Coffee Affiliate Link: https://www.bonescoffee.com/if...

Trust me when I say this, the cold open to this is not as pervy as it sounds! Not trying to pull a con on you, I swear! It was almost a slip! Speaking of cons, we reviewed Matchstick Men this week and we still can't believe Chuck was in on it! Enjoy the review and film! Let us know what you thought of Matchstick Men (2003)!     Music: https://jessejacethomas.bandcamp.com/album/want Coffee Affiliat...

We didn't really have a plan for this month and then tragically Michelle Trachtenberg passed away and we knew exactly the film to remember her with. EuroTrip will forever embody that perfect balance between raunchy and feel good in every 14 year old's mind! And come on... who didn't have the unrated version?! It's a fun film that filled with nostalgia and one of Trachtenberg's best! RIP Michelle!...

Gitchi-gitchi, ya-ya, da-da Gitchi-gitchi, ya-ya, here... You know as far as jukebox musicals go, this is not a bad one. In saying that we understand that Moulin Rouge (2001)  is not for everyone, however I think it hits the mark for I Finally Watched and definitely fills the criteria for our final musical in Musical Month! So sit back and enjoy our full musical rendering review... (just kidding)...

Welcome to another episode of Musical March! This week we review the heart-wrenching, depressing, yet hopeful musical, Les Misérables! This films reputation back in the day highlighted real on set singing, real emotion over singing and Russel Crowe's infamous singing voice! We hit all the marks! Enjoy! "There is evidence we filmed this last, but remember I made the joke first!" - Alain Music: http...

Once (2007) might not look very fancy on the surface but the story and music really bring this piece home! Is this the Garden State of Ireland? And have you heard of this film before? (I'm guessing yes since you're listening to this episode.) Do you consider this a musical? Let us know! Enjoy!   Music: https://jessejacethomas.bandcamp.com/album/want Coffee Affiliate Link: https://www.bonescoffee.c...

Continuing music month with Little Shop of Horrors (1986) The Academy Awards just ended last week with Emelia Perez winning a couple of awards and I think we called it best that if they won anything it would be because of Zoe Saldana, and we were proved correct! Wicked also won a few awards, including Production design! Speaking of production design, one cannot argue that when it comes to producti...

Welcome to Musical Month and the day after The Oscars 2025! When writing this description for this episode we do not know the results of the Oscars, we also didn't plan on The Oscars having this many musical nominations NOR did we plan this aligning with the Oscars, EVERYTHING IS A HAPPY COINCIDENCE! That being said, we did both watch Emelia Perez (2024) for this review and spoke about it, but let...

No, this film isn't about feudal Japan, it takes place in "modern" Paris, France. No, this film isn't about disgraced samurai, it's about disgraced thieves and get away drivers! Welcome Ronin (1998) Starring Robert De Niro, Jean Reno, Natascha McElhone and Sean Bean   Music: https://jessejacethomas.bandcamp.com/album/want Coffee Affiliate Link: https://www.bonescoffee.com/ifinallywatched CODE: IFI...

What a movie Grandma's Boy is! Its 2024 and we still find relevance in this film with its dated stoner comedic timing and up to date video game references! Nahhh Im joshin' with ya its a dated movie that's doing as well today as it did back when it came out, but it does have a bit of charm to it! A Happy Madison production that might not disappoint! Enjoy!   Music: https://jessejacethomas.bandcamp...

In honor of the late David Lynch we watched and reviewed Mulholland Dr. This neo-noir surreal film is surprisingly one of the weirder of Lynch's work but makes a lot of sense if you accept that ITS ALL A DREAM! Enjoy and see what we mean by listening now!! Also follow along with the ten rules of watching this film! Pay particular attention in the beginning of the film: At least two clues are revea...

The second film where Keanu Reeves has played an Ohio Quarterback (Can you name the other one?) and another football film where Alain has very little idea of what's actually going on! Welcome to our review of The Replacements! We hope you enjoy our first episode of February and The Super Bowl! Just in time too!     Music: https://jessejacethomas.bandcamp.com/album/want Coffee Affiliate Link: https...

I swear Robert Redford could be Brad Pitt's dad, well he's at least a father figure to him in the movie Spy Game (2000) We welcome our good friend, Gharrett, back for this non-Villenueve episode once again to tell us what he likes so much about this film on espionage!  Now is this your favorite spy thriller? Let us know! We hope you enjoy the episode!     Music: https://jessejacethomas.bandcamp.co...
