On Sunday Professor Glynn Harrison started our series on Left and Right: Following Jesus in a divided world, speaking on the subject of Status and Identity. Prof Harrison spoke on Acts 11:19-30.

On Sunday evening Josh Moxon spoke on Lamentations 4 and 5 on how the cross turns the tables on our sin and the hope we have when we turn to Jesus.

On Sunday evening Zim Okoli spoke from Lamentations 3 on Finding Hope in the Darkness. Zim encouraged us that we can still have hope in God even in the midst of our deepest darkness and most difficult struggles.

On Sunday morning Tim Jones spoke on Lamentations 3 and how we can still have hope in God's faithfulness and goodness and are not consumed even if we are facing insurmountable difficulties.

On Sunday evening Jamie Mulvaney spoke on Lamentations 1 and 2: Finding ourselves in the darkness. Jamie spoke on how God may be silent, but He is not absent, how God is righteous which means hope, and how God has suffered even more than our own suffering.

In the first part of our series on Lamentations, Felix Stevenson spoke on the subject of ‘Finding ourselves in the darkness’ from Lamentations 1&2. Felix highlighted how sin is worse than you think but God is better than you know.

In the final part of our series on ‘You are Loved’, Natalie Jones spoke on Romans 12- 13 and how we can practically put God’s love into action towards others in our everyday lives.

In the 3rd part of our 'You are Loved' sermon series, Jago Wynne spoke on Romans 8:28-39, focusing on how much we are loved by God. Jago spoke about how God's love is perfect and how God's love is permanent.

In the 2nd part of our 'You are Loved' sermon series on Romans, Jago Wynne spoke on Romans 5: 1-11. We looked at 2 reasons that we can be totally sure of God's perfect love for us: that God proves His love for us at the cross and that God pours out His love for us through the Holy Spirit.

On Sunday, Jago Wynne spoke on Romans 1: 1-7 and considered whether the phrase “You are Loved’ is trite or transformative. Jago spoke on how our identity should be defined not by our success or failure but as people loved by God.

On Try Church Sunday, Jason Roach spoke on the topic of ‘Why is God good news in the quest for racial unity and justice?’. Using Acts 10:34-43, Jason shared how God shows no favouritism, God gives us peace and God provides us with evidence that what He says is actually true.

In the final part of our series celebrating the 250th anniversary of John Newton's hymn 'Amazing Grace', Ed Veale spoke on 2 Chronicles 3:18 and how we can become like Christ as we behold Him.

On Sunday at the start of a new year, we began a 2-part series on the 250th anniversary of Amazing Grace. James Farley spoke on 1 Chronicles 17 and the God who saves us and how we need to look back and look forward at our lives and see how far God has brought us.

On Christmas Day, Ed Veale spoke on John 1:14 on how Christmas is about Jesus’ humbling Himself to make way for our homecoming. Jesus invites us all to come in.

On Sunday evening Jamie Mulvaney spoke on John 1:1-14 on Jesus the Word of Life and the Light of the World who shines in the darkness.

On Sunday morning at our Family Carols service, our special guest Professor Potions together with Felix Stevenson explored the true meaning of Christmas and what makes it go with a bang. We learned how it is Jesus coming into the world as a helpless baby that is the true reason for the season and is the light of the world that can never be overcome by the darkness.

On Sunday Jago Wynne spoke on 1 John 1:1-4 and how the phrase "I stand with" best represents the joy we have at Christmas. God stands with us as those He created. And if He stands with us, then we can know a feast of joy at Christmas and not just a crumb of joy. Will we now stand with God?

On Sunday evening Tim Jones spoke at our Carols on the Common service about the joy of Christmas and how Jesus came into the world at Christmas to make a way for us to know God.

On Sunday morning Natalie Jones spoke on Luke 19: 1-10 on Zacchaeus the Tax Collector. Natalie spoke on how, although we can sometimes feel inadequate and inferior, Jesus is interested, is interruptible and is invitational, and being with Jesus is incredible.
