Saul and Barnabas were set apart to take the message of the Gospels to the Gentiles. Every child of God has been set apart to take this same message to the world today. Main Scripture passage: Acts 13:1-12

Barnabas encouraged the church in Antioch to remain faithful to the Lord with steadfast purpose. We need the same encouragement today. In Acts chapter 11 we see the Christ followers getting involved in the work of the ministry, living a lifestyle that reflects Christ, and giving generously. Cornelius and Peter both learn significant lessons in Acts 10. This message focuses on Cornelius' lesson. When it comes to having right standing before a holy God, being good isn't good enough. Main Scripture passage: Acts 10:34-48

God is faithful as we deal with sin, change, and difficulty. It is good for Him to cause me to trust in Him. Main Scripture passage: Psalm 61

We can trust God no matter what when we filter our circumstances through the reality that God is faithful, enough and good all the time! Main Scripture passage: Lamentations 3:21-26 ESV

It is normal in life to have preconceived ideas. It's human nature to make quick judgments for decision-making. It must be normal for a Christian to allow Scripture to shape all of our viewpoints and to align our ideas and judgments with the Word of God. Main Scripture passage: Acts 10:1-33

Stephen's death was a terrible tragedy for the early church. God used the evil carried out that day as the catalyst to spread the Gospel further than it had ever gone. Stephen's message calls for us to yield to the work of the Holy Spirit in our lives and in the world. Main Scripture passage: Acts 6:8-7:53

All around us and within us, we find both beauty and brokenness. The beauty comes from our Creator, and the brokenness can be resolved by our Redeemer!

Acts 6 describes a conflict in the early church that comes to a good resolution. The resolution comes when the church is committed and devoted to serving each other. Main Scripture passage: Acts 6:1-7

The apostles obeyed the commands of Christ to the best of their ability. This resulted in harassment, jail time, and beatings. At the same time, their witness produced an amazing spread of the gospel with thousands receiving Christ as their Savior. God is so gracious and kind toward us and constantly shows us His love. Because of that, we can forget how serious sin is in our lives. The account of Ananias and Sapphira reminds us that God takes sin seriously. Main Scripture passage: Acts 5:1-16
