In this second lesson on the church of Philadelphia, we will discover 3 keys to discern an open door from God. We will also see how Christ protected them and rewarded them as they kept their focus on him and not their circumstances.

I found myself "rushing" through each city (Ephesus, Smyrna, Pergamum) doing my best to limit myself to one lesson per city. But there was so much I was leaving out and I was lovingly reprimanded by a lovely Christian sister to slow down and not leave so much unsaid. Beginning in Thyratira I started taking 2 lessons per city.

A serendipity occured in Izmir at the site of the Smyrna ruins. I came into contact with Christian Believers from Cambridge, England singing and praying in the underground rooms. In a short half hour together I bonded with them. Unfortunately we did not exchange email addresses and so I have no contact with them....one day in heaven?
