Text: Romans 12:1-2; Luke 10: 25-37 We can be excuse makers or we can be followers of Christ who take seriously the call to be people of compassion.

Text: Luke 10:33-35; 2 Chronicles 28:1-14 What does it mean to have "skin in the game" when it comes to showing compassion to others? The Good Samaritan in Luke 10 is a vivid reminder of our high calling and responsibility to demonstrate compassion to the world us.

Text: Luke 10:25-37 There are "correct" answer and there are "loving" answers. The teacher of the law came to Jesus hoping Jesus would validate his "correct" answer to the question, "who is my neighbor?" He quickly realized that Jesus came to empower us to live out and embody what is most loving. The life of holiness who should move us towards not away from people in our community.

Text: Luke 24:1-12 The story of Easter can seem unbelievable but the good news is that because of the power of Easter dead things don't have to remain dead.

Text: Matthew 6:1-18 Lent is a season that reminds us to become intentional about the hard things in our spiritual journey. We confront our brokenness, our humanity, even our own mortality. On this first Sunday of Lent we are reminded that the clearest way we can reflect Christ is through forgiveness...both experiencing forgiveness and offering forgiveness.

As we wrap our series we are reminded that the most important thing we need to Win The Day is prayer. Prayer helps us see with prophetic imagination how The Lord is leading in the world around us. May we see "Seed The Clouds" with bold prayers and Win The Day.

Text: Matthew 14:22-33 Winning The Day means coming to a point where we have to "cut the rope" or take a step of faith towards where God is leading. Cutting the rope can feel like we are out of control but that is when the hand of the Lord comes near to remind us we are right where we need to be.

Scripture Text: Zechariah 4:6-10 Trusting God with the big things in life begins with trusting him with the small decisions and details of our everyday life. This also means trusting him with the small beginnings of whatever "God sized" dreams he has given us. In week four of our series we discover what it means to "Fly The Kite."

If we want to Win The Day we have to learn to "Kiss The Wave." Charles Spurgeon said, "I've learned to kiss the wave that pushes me up against the Rock of Ages." We may have past failures and fears, but God is calling us out of those fears and into freedom.

This week we welcome guest speaker, Rev. Dr. David Bowser, District Superintendent of the Mid-Atlantic District Church of the Nazarene, as he shares a message from Luke 5:18-26 entitled, "Through The Roof."

Winning The Day begins with Flipping The Script. Genesis 50:20 helps us see that Joseph didn't allow the script of his past keep him trusting God's direction for his life. Yesterday is in the review mirror and tomorrow is still beyond the horizon...our goal is to Win The Day.
