Tom continues our series on the Trinity- talking about how the Holy Spirit within us allows us to enjoy fellowship with God the Father and God the Son. And through the Holy Spirit we can do greater works than Jesus because the Holy Spirit is poured out- we can expect signs and wonders!

Maurice continues our series on the Trinity, talking about God as the Son. He questions and challenges us on What is it that takes our love? He is a God who has no rival and no equal, and this should be reflected in our own lives- He demands our love because of who He is and what He has done.

Tom kicks off our 3 part series on the trinity- first talking about how the very existence of the trinity means that God in his very essence is love; since the Father has always been in loving community with the Son and Holy Spirit. And then going on to talk about how we have perfect Father who is generous, trustworthy and has loved us enough to forgive us.

Tim shares Hope Church's plans for a new and exciting small group structure and talks on the importance of friendship, connecting people to the life of the church and helping each other to grow in faith.

Following the exciting news of the possibility of moving to a new location and the offering taking place in 2 weeks time; Tom talks on what faith looks like. Within this he talks about how we should priorotise the giver over the gift and that in being able to forego something good, God will provide something better.

What is your promised land? Are you content and fulfilled in God? Tim talks on how we are called to be a people of God's presence- Our God is a Father who longs to dwell in us, and through Jesus we can approach the throne of grace with boldness; and find contentment as we press into him.

Guest speaker Dan Goodman talks about how God has great expectations for us as a church, and that we need to be good listeners and fertile ground. He digs into Ephesians 4, and talks about how in order to grow in maturity we should be making ourselves faithful, available and teachable.

Tom continues the 'Last Words' sermon series in the run up to Easter, looking at when Jesus cried out "My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?".

Maurice begins our Last Words series, talking about how the extent to which we realise we have been forgiven, is reflected in the desire of our hearts to worship God. He also talks about the importance of forgiving others, and that not doing this means that we can't enjoy his forgiveness to the fullness.

Tom continues our series on prayer talking on how we can boldly and persistently bring our requests to God, trusting that he will fulfill his promises to us. He talks on how we should not be sleeping giants in prayer, but that we should be specific in praying into things we know only God can do.

Maurice speaks from James 4:13 – 5:12, where James appeals to two groups of people; those who are attempting to determine their own destiny, and those who are attempting to align their destiny with the will of God. Maurice asks the question – ‘are you in the will of God for your life?’ and reminds us that Christ did not save us to serve our own cause, but to serve His cause.

Tim continues our series on James talking about how when we humble ourselves before the Lord he will exult us. God opposes the proud and gives grace to the humble.

Tom continues our series on James- looking at how although the tongue can be powerful, revealing and untameable- it can be bridled when we come to understand this. He also talks about how our words reflect what is on our heart, and so we should be intentional about soaking in the grace of God and letting this flow from us.

Tim continues our series on Wisdom, looking into James 2, and seeing that Faith without works is dead. He talks about how we should let our faith move from our head to our heart and then to our hands, feet and speech.
