In our series "Family is Essential" we will be looking at who we are as a community at Hope Church. Over the next few weeks we will be talking about our mission as a church, what the vision for this ministry is, and what exactly shapes our ministry. Just like everything at Hope Church, Scripture defines these things for us. This week, we will be looking at our Essential Beliefs.

This week, we end our series "The God Perspective" with some ideas about what it takes to have a godly perspective. Colossians 4:2 tells us to be devoted, to be alert, and to be thankful. These aren't the only ways to retrain our minds to see from God's perspective, but they are great places to start. Join us this week as we conclude our series with a word of hope and encouragement.

Do you ever wonder what it would be like to live how you were meant to? To be the complete man or woman that God called you to be? Have you ever wondered what that would look like? Join us this week as we take a look at Colossians 3:10 and discuss the new nature God has given you and how to "put it on."

Make no mistake about it, our deeps are growing deep, but are they growing in the right place? We are called to grow our roots deep in Him (Christ) and not the things of this world (Colossians 2:7). Join us this week as we discuss our roots and the importance of a godly perspective and Christian reasoning.

Our new series is a look at going beyond what we can see and to live by faith. It is a call to stop pursuing the earthly things and to pursue the Heavenly. It is a desire to live a life that seeks the Lord and not one's self. Join us this week as we begin our series The God Perspective and look at how God rescued us out of darkness.

This week, we conclude our series Heroes in the Faith by looking at the life of Moses. A man who shows us that personal problems, family issues, and age are only excuses, and that God can and will use anyone who turns their life over to Him. Join us and be encouraged.

As we continue our series "Heroes in the Faith" we see the value of a faith that looks beyond the here and now. This week we take a look at the life of Joseph and how he had a faith that conquered the fear of death and grabbed hold of the promise of God.

This week, we continue our series based on Hebrews 11 entitled "Heroes in the Faith." Today we are looking at Jacob, a man that started out as a deceiver and became the conduit of the promise of God. Imagine, if God could use Jacob in such a way, what can He do with you?

Join us as we continue our series called "Heroes in the Faith" based on Hebrews 11. This week we look at the life and faith of Isaac.

Abraham was a man of tremendous faith, but also immense flaws. Join us this week as we look at the humanity of Abraham and how God not only used him and loved him despite his flaws, but how God blessed him as well. 

As we continue our series through Hebrews chapter 11, today we look at Noah. We see him described as "righteous" and one who "walked with God." Join us as we look at the life of Noah and ask God to increase our faith beyond simply believing and into a life of action for the Kingdom.

In week 2 of our Series Heroes in the Faith, we take a look at Enoch at what it means to walk with God. Join us for an encouraging, but challenging word from the Lord.

In our NEW series, we will explore Hebrews 11 and the "heroes" that the author describes. This week we are taking a look at Abel and his selflessness in his giving to God.

"I have always loved you," says the Lord. What a powerful truth! Join us this week as we dive into the book of Malachi and unpack these amazing words from the Lord to us.

Are you burdened and under stress? Are you hungry for something that satisfies the soul, or thirsty for something that will soothe your very being? Then join us this week as we continue our series "Unbelievable" in the book of Zechariah. Only in Christ can we can run to the fountain and be truly cleansed.

Distracted? Tired? Overwhelmed? Priorities misaligned? Join us this week as we talk about getting back to work for God out of the book of Haggai.

"The day of the Lord" holds so much meaning for people, but in order to understand it fully we must understand its context. Join us this week as we take a look at the book of Zephaniah and in light of the creation story, recognize some important realities about the "the day of the Lord."

Fear can grab ahold of us and cause uncertainty, even panic. However, when we view life and the world around us in light of the Word of God, we will always find that God is in control. Drop your fear and anxiety about the future and join us this week as we continue our series "Unbelievable" in the book of Habakkuk.

God is good all the time! Join us this week as we take a look at the book of Nahum and discuss the goodness of God.

What does God want from me? This is a question for the ages and the answer can be found all over scripture. Join us this week as we take a closer look at this question and explore part of the answer in the book of Micah. 

In light of everything that is happening and has happened over the last few weeks, we felt the Spirit leading us into a morning of prayer. Prayer for equality. Prayer for justice. Prayer for our nation and prayer for the church. 

It may be one of the most famous Messianic prophecies. Many of us know its words and are unaware where they are found in Scripture. This week we look at Isaiah 53 and try and understand the heart of God a little better.

Our culture demands that we put ourselves first. God commands us to put Him first. In a world of selfies and self promotion, God tells us to give Him all the glory. Join us as we reflect on the ways and the words of God and the concept of self denial.
