"Then David said in his heart, 'Now I shall perish one day by the hand of Saul.'" 1 Samuel 27:1

"If God heard us when He saved us, He will hear us now." 

"But then David’s conscience began bothering him because he had cut Saul’s robe. He said to his men, 'The Lord forbid that I should do this to my lord the king. I shouldn’t attack the Lord’s anointed one, for the Lord himself has chosen him.' So David restrained his men and did not let them kill Saul. Chapter 21 to 22:5 contains 4 short stories as David prepares to go on the run. David makes some decisions that seem questionable. And there’s no mention of God in the decision making. Has David become another Saul? Is he just doing whatever seems right to him without stopping to consider God? Or is there something else going on here? David Serves in Saul's Court

David Anointed King.

“And Samuel said, "Has the Lord as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the Lord? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to listen than the fat of rams.” ‭‭1 Samuel‬ ‭15:22‬ ‭ESV‬‬

As believers, we must have active faith. Faith is depending on God's promises. His word always stands; our does not. 

We are all worshippers in one way or another. The object of your worship is what matters. Pastor Matt paints a picture for us from Colossians of Jesus, our God and Savior.

God orchestrates all things according to his plan and will. He is in all things, controls all things, and determines all things.
