Luke Mansfield kicked off week one of our Christmas themed sermons, exploring what it means that Jesus is the Saviour

Luke led us on this Remembrance Sunday, continuing with our Spiritual Warfare series; ‘Doors and Strongholds’, reading from Ephesians 4:17-32 and Corinthians 10:3-5

Youth Serving Sunday is one of our favourite Sundays, where we give some of our young people the chance to try out their gifts. This Sunday, we heard from Micah and Ryan - following on from Friday’s Light Party - with the theme; Light in the Darkness

Luke Mansfield left us with a powerful message: ‘Don’t get addicted to the adrenalin of victory, stay anchored in the assurance of Salvation’. Reading from Colossians 2:13-15 and Luke 10:17-20, Luke continued the series on spiritual warfare, this week looking at ‘Authority in Christ’

Reading from a number of different bible verses, Zoe leads us this Sunday, carrying on our sermon series; ‘The battle belongs to the Lord’. With the topic; ‘Understanding the Enemy’, Zoe encourages all to focus on who the Shepherd is and more importantly, on His goodness

Continuing our latest series; The battle belongs to the Lord’, Luke looks at ‘The clash of the Kingdom’, reading from Matthew 12:22-29. The mission is not to survive until you get to Heaven, the mission is to bring Heaven here!

Alex touches on David’s life story and the different fears he has been through, how even in the midst of his fear, David wants us to know he’s confident in God, to be strong and courageous in all that we do

Our Summer Sundays series continues with Jean Potter, who has the more uplifting title: ‘The Song of Joy’. Reading from Psalm 100, Jean reminds us that God is God is God. How worship is all about him so lets rejoice and be glad

We welcome Abraham Baiye to continue the ‘Song for Every Season’ series, reading from Psalm 13: The Song of Lament. Abraham spends some time looking at the trajectory of David’s life, despite both the highs and lows, the Psalm demonstrates David’s underlying faith in God

We welcome Cat Caird to kick off our latest sermon series: ‘A Song for Every Season’. Reading from Psalm 42, Cat asks ‘how do we hold onto hope when everything around us feels like it’s falling apart?’, looking at how Psalm 42 meets us right in the middle of our troubles

This week saw Luke conclude our ‘Empowered’ sermon series, we’ve been reading through the book of Acts. Looking at how the Holy Spirit moved through the early church and what it means for us today and how the Gospel of Jesus Christ, empowered by the Holy Spirit is unstoppable

Luke continues our ‘Empowered’ sermon series, reading from Acts 13:1-12 and thinking about how, up until now, the gospel has spread organically but now we see a church intentionally listening to the spirit, marking the first missionary journey. Luke asks the question; what kind of church do we want to be?

We continue to push through the book of Acts, this week looking at Acts 8:26-40. God has been moving throughout this series and it’s been great to hear how the Holy Spirit is at work. This week’s topic was ‘The Gospel Breaks Boundaries’

What a weekend! We spent both our Sunday services waiting on the Holy Spirit, reading through Acts 7 (yes, the whole chapter!) and recounting the story of Stephen, a spirit filled follower of Christ

Zoe read from Acts chapter 6:1-7, opening up and reviewing the first few chapters of Acts and how it’s all about growth. Yes, the linking thread is the Holy Spirit and the acts of the obedient apostles but the repeating structure is a repetition on Luke’s commentary on the growth of the church

This Sunday, Luke took us through the next stage of our sermon series; ‘Empowered; The movement of the Spirit in the early church’ - this week’s topic was ‘a Spirit formed community’, read from Acts 2:42-47

Reading through Acts chapter 2, Zoe Lane continues our sermon series; “Empowered’ looking at the movement of the Spirit in the early church”. Looking specifically at when the Spirit comes, how it’s a big full circle moment and how the promise of the spirit is fulfilled

For the next 12 weeks, we’ll be focusing on our sermon series called ‘Empowered; The movement of the Spirit in the early church’. This week, reading from Acts 1:1-11, Luke looks at how the ‘waiting room’ is a place of preparation for the plans God has for us
