Ephesians, the Queen of the Epistles, is  the most concise complete presentation of what God is doing thru Jesus. Of the 41 command verbs in the book, 40 of them are in chapters 4-6. There is only 1 command in the first 3 chapters - ‘Remember’. Before you ever talk about what you are supposed to do - C at its base is about what God has done for us in Christ.  Ephesians 1:3-14

If we are going to understand a book fully then we are going to have to understand as much as we can about the people who are receiving this letter. What about the older brother? Pastor Stephen teaches on the second half of the Parable of the Prodigal Son. For certain types of people, grace is not only amazing, it is also infuriating. Just because one of the sons didn’t run away doesn’t mean that he wasn’t lost.  There is more to this parable than you think.  Luke 15:25-32
