Jeremiah 34-36 - Jeremiah reminds us that "crisis" Christianity has a cost. He encourages us to be sensitive to the voice of God in our lives. He challenges us to share God's Word and allow God to determine the results.

Jeremiah 30-33 Jeremiah reminds us that difficulty is part of life, but we do not go through it alone. God can use our experiences to give us hope and a future no matter how difficult the time. He can give us a new relationship, a new family and a new direction when we trust Him as our Master. He will be our God and we will be His people. Jeremiah 26-29 = Jeremiah challenges the people to realize that hardship can happen. Sometimes God asks the unusual and it is our responsibility to respond properly. There often comes a turning point when we must turn a problem over to God and walk away trusting God to work out His plan for us. A plan for hope and a future.

Jeremiah 21-25 = Jeremiah reminds us that God will make a way for His plans and purposes. He sees our situation very differently than we do, but it will pass. He can use our pain and struggle for His purposes which can have an eternal impact.

Jeremiah 20 - Jeremiah shows his humanity as he wrestles with his circumstances for doing right. He reminds us of the importance of refocusing our circumstances and seeing them from God's perspective.

Jeremiah challenges Judah to change their direction. God as the potter will work with them if they will obey Him. If they refuse, they will face judgment rather than His love and mercy. God has a line.

Jeremiah trusts God when He asks him to do the difficult things. Look at the road you are on, and ask yourself where it will ultimately take you. Ask God to show you whether your trust is in him or yourself and your works.

John 4 - Living Water - Jesus uses a common everyday illustration of water to illustrate the necessity of believing in Him. Each year our church goes to the Woodbury County Fairgrounds to hold a service.

Jeremiah challenges us to examine our life and make sure you are not close to any line God may be drawing in our life. Realize the things that you experience are preparing you for the life ahead. Understand that God wants you to be close to him every day this week.

Jeremiah 8-10 - Jeremiah reminds us to examine our personal relationship with God. For those of us who have a personal relationship - we are challenged to make sure we are dependent upon God and not "idols" we have erected in our lives.

Jeremiah 6:16-20 - We are challenged to stop and take some time to look at where we are in our spiritual life. Maybe it is a time for reflection and enjoyment. Maybe it is a time of tough decisions. Make sure you are choosing the best paths for your life. Every path is leading you somewhere and you don’t want to look back with regrets.

We are challenged to take some time to reflect on what God has done in our life. We are reminded to be grateful for the blessings you have been given. We are also reminded to look at the direction you are going. Make sure your actions reflect what you say in your heart.

The people of Judah neglected to be honest and take a hard look at their choices and direction. They had started to pursue things that brought them temporary satisfaction. Those were the things that actually sent them into bondage as they replaced God with things that had no value. Jeremiah's message has tremendous application for us in 2013.

We are reminded that our circumstances or situations have not taken God by surprise. He wants to use you, but you have to be willing and obedient. You have to be willing to do things His way and not yours. Jeremiah shows us as he follows Gods leading and allow God to use him in the world. Realize you are not alone and you can see His hand and power in your life this week as well.

We are challenged to take a serious look at the choices you make. . God will allow you to choose your path. His grace and mercy is extended to all. Whether you are the wayward son or the self righteous brother. He wants everyone to be part of His family and asks each of us to join Him.

We are encouraged to look at our own salvation with a heart of gratefulness. We are reminded to focus on relationships over things and realize that we have experienced the grace of God and be grateful for the grace God shown us.

We are challenged regarding carelessness. about our spiritual condition.. We are reminded tat God is seeking y the lost and wants you to find the Life He offers you.

Luke 15:1-17 - Christ explains His desire for lost people and He seeks us aggressively. For those of us who have been saved, we are challenged to to step out of our box and seek those who are wandering and struggling.

2 Timothy 1:1-7 We are challenged to show the world a faith that is real and practical. Paul encourages Timothy and us to establish a legacy that last far beyond your life in this world.

Paul sends this letter to a dear friend (Philemon) pleading on behalf of Onesimus. He wants him to forgive and restore his relationship. with Onesimus. Paul puts everything on the line when speaking on behalf of his brother in Christ. In this story, he demonstrates what Christ has done for us as believers.

The Psalmist challenges us to impact the life of a child. for good. Those children should be able to see Christ in us.

From time to time we have a church meeting to update everyone on where we are in the ministry, what God is doing, and where we are heading. This message is the first part of that meeting where we looked at the scriptures (Hebrews 11 / Genesis 12) and what God has done in the past.

God has a purpose in the trials in your life. He desires to mature you and make you whole. He wants to confirm and establish you. He wants strengthen and establish you by allowing your trial to become a foundation in your life. So this week - May you be at Peace, knowing what you experience will only last for a "little while".
