Paul Cordella talks about joining WRHU in 1993 and being part of the News Department with Dave Mock.  Paul later became Station Manager and is now a Vice President of the Hofstra Radio Alumni Association.

Joe Romano joined Hofstra Radio in 1989 and was a producer of Rock Solid 88.7, host of Ten at Ten, morning show host and Election Night Co-Anchor with Dave Mock.  In this episode Joe talks about joining WRHU and finding his way at the station.

Al Montag and I arrived at Hofstra at the same time in 1990 and I was in awe of his professional sound and knowledge of radio.  He sounded great then and he still sounds great as he talks about his early days at WRHU and how he got interested in radio.

If you've ever wondered how Mark Giordano, the Stallion, became part of the Hofstra Radio family here is your opportunity to find out.  Mark was not a student at Hofstra but he was a fixture at the station in the 1990s.

Two interviews this week with my friends and colleagues from the 1990s.  Al Montag came to Hofstra specifically for the radio station and he blew us all away with his talent.  Mark Giordano never went to Hofstra but he joined the station and charmed us all with his laugh and his voice. 

Jon Lane came to WRHU in the early 1990s and made himself a key member of the Hofstra Radio Sports Team, as well as producing the Rock n Roll Oasis.

In the mid 1990s Ray Calderon showed up at WRHU, somewhat out of the blue, and quickly made himself a key member of the Hofstra Radio Commmunity.  Ray is a great storyteller and we had a great time recalling our first meeting and how that changed Ray's Hofstra experience.

Kristi Jasberg Robinson talks about her time at Hofstra Radio in the mid 1990s starting as the Traffic Reporter (who knew?) and working her way up to Program Director.

In this interview Will Shelley talks about his early days at Hofstra Radio in the mid 1990s.  Will was also one of the key members of the station as the facilities moved from Memorial Hall to Dempster Hall.

Dawn McCarthy walked into Hofstra Radio as a freshman in Fall 1992.  She grew up around the corner from Hofstra University and Jeff Kraus and was immediately part of the Hofstra Radio community.  Dawn was also part of the transition from Memorial Hall to the new facility in Dempster Hall.

Bruce Avery joined Hofstra Radio as the new General Manager in 1994.  It's been a long and amazing journey for Bruce and the station over the last 28 years.  In this conversation we talk about Bruce being the "new guy" all those years ago and about how he got into radio in the first place.

Marilyn Armstrong discusses her early days at WVHC in the early 1960s and how Hofstra Radio became an enduring part of her life, even after her undergraduate days were over.
