Collin reviews the fantasy horror film The Watchers directed by Ishana Night Shyamalan in her debut. The film’s main character is Mina played by Dakota Fanning. A solid movie overall!

Our host was in awe after finishing a true film masterpiece in The Curse of La Patasola. Two couples whose relationships are on the rocks go on a camping trip. After telling a ghost story, a lady in white/ wailing witch/ ghost haunts the four characters.

Our host decided to risk it all and watch the sequel to the abysmal movie he reviewed last month, Shark Attack. Shark Attack 2’s story takes place in South Africa at a SeaWorld rip-off water park. The main character is a marine biologist who joins forces with his love interest to hunt down and kill a Great White Shark for revenge.

Collin reviews the new movie from the Strangers series. The Strangers: Chapter 1 which he saw over the weekend in the theatre. A young couple gets lost in the middle of nowhere in Venus, Oregon. Soon Ryan and Maya have to run for their lives and try to escape from three masked killers before they end up as their next trophies.

Collin reviews the classic horror film Burnt Offerings based on the novel by Robert Marasco. The movie stars Karen Black, Oliver Reed, and Bette Davis. The main plot is about a family who rents an old manor home for the summer. Soon evil events and scary things start to occur that threaten the family’s lives.

Collin reviews the Canadian horror film The Cube released in 1997. The movie’s plot is about seven random people trapped in a Cube full of thousands of rooms. They need to band together and escape before they die.

Our host reviews the Jewish horror film The Vigil. The main story is a about young man who left the Orthodox Jewish Community and is hired to be the Somer for the night of a man who recently passed. Suddenly a dark spirit arrives and creepy things start to happen!

Collin reviews the hilariously awful action thriller Shark Attack which currently has a 0 percent on Rotten Tomatoes starring Casper Van Dien and Ernie Hudson. The writing, story, and action scenes are incredibly dull and poorly thought out throughout the film.

Collin reviews the remake of the well-beloved movie The Caine Mutiny from 1954 which was based on the novel and play of the same name. Jason Clarke and Monica Raymund both were very good in their roles as a Naval defense attorney and Naval prosecutor. Whereas the main character was not so good sadly. In Memory of Lance Reddick.

Collin reviews for part 2 of the show’s Bigfoot special the good movie Big Legend. The film's main story is about an ex-army ranger whose fiancé goes missing in the woods in Washington. He believes she was kidnapped by Bigfoot and he teams up with a local hunter to find her and eliminate Bigfoot.

Collin reviews two films for his Bigfoot movies special. For part 1 he reviews the boring film Primal Rage. The main plot is about an ex-con and his wife who get lost in the woods in Washington. Suddenly a predator clone/ Bigfoot/ Native American beast arrives with bows, knives, axes, and guns. And then he starts killing the local hunters in brutal ways and stalks the main characters.

Our host reviews the horror movie The Haunting of Patricia Johnson. The main plot revolves around a family moving to a haunted home in the suburbs.

On this week’s episode, Collin reviews the Latvian horror/ adventure film River of Fear. The main plot revolves around a river guide and his sister who go kayaking with employees of a vegan sausage company. They travel on the river next to a dark and spooky forest. Soon possessions and vanishings occur forcing Andrejs to find and save his sister and her friends.

On this week’s episode of History From The Back Pages, we review the horror movie Deliver Us From Evil. The film stars Eric Bana as an NYPD officer and Edgar Rameriz as an eccentric demon investigator priest. The movie’s soundtrack is only songs from the band The Doors. And the song's lyrics are a huge plot device for some unexplained reason.

Chad Michael Murray stars as the host of the ghost investigator TV show Ghost Hunt. He and his team travel to the middle of nowhere in Oklahoma to find ghosts at Camp Cold Brook. While there creepy things start happening to them!!!

A family moves to an old estate in Spain to fix up the home and sell it for a profit. But suddenly ghosts, witches, spirits, and demons begin to terrorize the family! Causing the father to seek the aid of a legendary ghost investigator.

On this week’s episode, our host reviews the Japanese Jidaigeki masterpiece Harakiri directed by Masaki Kobayashi, written by Shinobu Hashimoto, and starring the legendary Tatsuya Nakadai. Tatsuya Nakadai’s performance in this film was beyond words you will have to look far and wide to find a performance on par with his in the movie. On this week’s episode of History From The Back Pages Collin reviews The masterful Japanese film High and Low directed by legendary director Akira Kurosawa and starring the great actor Toshiro Mifune.

Our host reviews the new Japanese animation fantasy film The Boy And The Heron. The movie was directed by legendary director Hayao Miyazaki the cofounder of Studio Ghibli. ( I saw the film in Japanese with English subtitles). A amazing film one of my favorites of 2023.

Our host reviews the film Red Island. The movie is so boring and lifeless that it’s hard to fathom it was approved for release. Alexandra Essoe’s acceptable performance was the only positive that this movie had to offer.

"Warning"- This film is full of very gross gore, tons of blood, and hideous mutant beings. Collin reviews the horror film The Breach directed by Rodrigo Gudiño based on Nick Cutter's novel of the same name. The film's plot is about a Canadian sheriff along with his ex-girlfriend and his rival investigating the death of an insane evil scientist whose experiments are beyond belief.
