As the new year starts we are excited to be consumed by the word of God! In this sermon Ps Jacques starts us off in the gospel of Luke which is the warmest and most sensitive of the 4 gospels and provides the most attractive portrait of Jesus.

According to the Gospel of Luke we look at how Simeon's generation played a role in the story of Jesus' birth and are encouraged to take courage and partner with God as he uses us to prepare the way for generations to come.

According to the Guinness World Record the Christian Bible is the best-selling book to date. In this message we take a look at our statements of faith that relates to scripture. Ps Jacques speaks into how Scripture is inspired by God (2 Timothy 3:16-17) and how it has authority (1 Thessalonians 2:13).

In this sermon we look at Philippines 3:12-15, unpacking a sense from God to Just keep going, just as Paul the Apostle says, "I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me.'' It is important that we press on to God with all that we have and all that we are for it is Him who sustains us and He know the ways of our paths. ENJOY!

In this message we look at the first and second commandments in Exodus 20 and what having no other gods looks like in our lives. We see how even some of the good things God has given us can become idols where we have placed our identity, significance and value in them and not Jesus.

When Jonathan and his armour bearer defeated the whole Philistine army in 1Samual 14, he was one of only 2 men in Israel who had swords. Today Ps Jacques looks at the story of Jonathan and his armour bearer and how it took faith for them to go up and defeat Philistines. We see how God indeed showed up on their behalf as they aligned themselves with what God was doing and how He can surely do the same with us.

We consider the depth of the Great Commission that we have been given by God, our Father which is to be "Passionate about Him and His people," and what that looks like according to His will.
