Our lesson today is out of Psalm 23. Jim Martin shares a comforting message about the grace of God from this familiar passage. No matter what you are going through, knowing that God is pursuing you with His overflowing grace is good news for us all.

Today's lesson is out of 3 John 5-8. Eric will talk about the bond we all share through giving to the work of the church. We can develop a true friendship when we participate for a cause like supporting our missionaries and ministry partners. That friendship is so deep—and deepens— because of what they are doing together.

Eric is joined by our Youth Ministers, Ted Crigler, Emily Cochran, and Donnie Stover, to talk about the importance of discipleship. Our vision at Highland is to Build Up The Next Generation and walking along teenagers is a big part of that. In this lesson you will hear some examples and influences in the lives of our youth ministers.

Today, we are finishing the Elder Selection Process that has lasted a year. We will be Installing new Elders, renewing returning Elders, and saying thank you to retiring Elders. God knows we need Shepherds. Today we will look at what we need from our good Shepherds.

Today’s lesson comes from Deuteronomy 6:4-9. This is arguably the most important passage in the whole OT and it is about discipleship. Specifically, family discipleship. Its been called “the Great Commission b4 the Great Commission”. When it comes to forming our children into disciples of Christ, this passage lays out the steps to take.

Today our lesson comes from Josh Jackson. Josh is the lead preacher at Rural Hills Church of Christ in middle Tennessee. Josh gives us a challenging message to give our lives order instead of balance. When we place things in the right order, we are doing things in the likeness of God.

Today's lesson is the first part in a series about baptism. There is a fundamental misunderstanding of the Gospel, and how baptism fits into it. We can’t know enough. We can’t be good enough. But we can be saved. By Him. Baptism is something Jesus does to us, a washing of rebirth and renewal he pours out on us. Not something I do.

Part of our time of worship each week is dedicated to taking the Lord's Supper, or Communion, together. This week Highland Elder, David Jackson, led us in a longer time devoted to reflecting on Christ's sacrifice on the cross to die for our sins.

What do Christians do? They make disciples. In this series we have been talking about things that Christians do when they give their life to Jesus. This last lesson of the series focuses on what Jesus commands us to do in Matthew 28:18-20- "go and make disciples".

What do Christians do? They Serve. We get this directly from Jesus. Jesus doesn’t just say this to us. He lives it. Every person he comes across, he stops to receive. To help. To serve. When he’s touched, he doesn’t recoil. When there is a need, he never turns away. The Son of Man—above all others—somehow puts everybody else above himself.

Turning is an essential Building Block. By “Turning”—we mean repent. Turning from Sin, and to God. Today we look at what that means in a very practical sense and how we can set up some ways to fight sin daily.

We think we can do things on our own, but that’s not God’s design. His design for His people has always been to form the church. What do Christians do? We Give. In fact, the early Christians gave so much that they had joy in poverty. In crisis they gave even beyond what they were able to. And nobody made them, it was on their own. They said it was a privilege. In today's lesson we look at why Christians give generously and what the Bible tells us about the way we use our money.

Today's passage is from Luke 1:26-38. Jesus is not the result of our effort, strength, labor or worth. He is the Father’s choice. The product of the Father’s initiative.
