High & Low

What better way to decompress from a week of chaos and unrest than to watch a woman with more Birkins than sense dramatically lament a situation she created? How dare people take issue with Kyle seemingly pledging loyalty to a friend's estranged husband? All that while continuing to refer to herself as a "girl's girl" makes for quite the journey into madness. Thankfully, Dorit 2.0 continues to rej...

On MLK Day, in a mad world, lets talk about two women-centered films. Final thoughts of the 'Martha' documentary on Netflix and then Demi Moore's stellar performance in 'The Substance', as well as the lessons we can glean from both. Also, hold my hand as I rant about the much hyped TikTok ban that wasn't and worrisome censorship that appears to be popping up across social media platforms. All opin...

This extended version of the episode was truly a hilling experience. I laughed, I cried, I critiqued. Breaking the fourth wall, throwing flowers, nip slips, cheap wigs, walk-offs, wild allegations, and claims of stagnant sales for Wild Rose - the finale has it ALL. This episode could provide an entire season's worth of content for other RH franchises. It's a journey of friendship, conflict, loyalt...

After a measured rant on the tragedy that is the American government catering to the whims of a bug eyed bro with $8M to spend on lobbying to get his way, we recap two episodes of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. In episode six, Dorit confronts Kyle about her innocent meme laden texts with PK, Kyle doubles down on the silliness of her caring after not caring previously and the innocent nature of...

Another iconic Real Housewives of Salt Lake City episode that solidifies the sprinter van as THE best of all possible filming locations on any franchise. Nothing brings a divided group together like a common enemy, and that enemy swinging and missing on every excuse, accusation, and attempt to fight back makes for a legendarily cringe experience. Up against a new foe, Meredith is in rare form and...

It finally happened, I watched the movie that spurned all the lawsuits and drama - and I have thoughts. A review the rom-dramedy? in the spirit of Mystery Science Theater 3000 and thoughts and research into the various distracting derelict lewks and random designer labels. From the acting to the dialogue, and the plot to the set design, the creative choices were all noticed and noted. BONUS: A new...

The conclusion of Justin Baldoni's jam packed lawsuit against the New York Times that covers a pile of alleged inaccuracies from their article regarding a "smear campaign" against Blake Lively. Full text message exchanges between Justin's team seem to present a different reality from the vindictive scenarios outlined in Blake's complaint. Justin's version tells a story of his small production hous...

Justin Baldoni files an 87 page lawsuit against the New York Times, this episode reviews contradictions from statements made in Blake Lively's complaint. His perspective seems to be that she held something over Wayfarer as a bargaining chip of sorts to get her way, and that he and his team agreed to her escalating demands to keep the peace. They appear to frame her allegations as a means to regain...

Review and recommendations of Netflix's 6-part series, 'Black Doves', and the Caroline Lindy's indie film, "Your Monster". Keira Knightly morphs into a super spy with impressive fighting skills and a comedic relief spy best friend in a series that I thought rivaled any action movie in recent years. Then, Melissa Bererra gives an outstanding performance as a young woman dealing with a pile of disap...

The final portion of Blake Lively's complaint filed against Justin Baldoni and Wayfarer for alleged misconduct and a PR smear campaign. Enlightening information is shared via actual text messages that seem to make clear why Justin's messaging and behavior during the launch of the movie was so very different from the rest of the cast. Text messages between his PR and crisis comms team detail the le...

Dorit's DGAF season continues to give and give as the episode shows us various topics, from Sutton supporting Garcelle's move into her renovated beach house, Jennifer Tilly's Bel Air real estate collection, Boze's travels, Kyle's self love, and Erika's affinity for pizza and delusion - yet none are as entertaining as watching Dorit pop off on a smug Camille. That moment comes during a western feti...

The ladies pick up on a "to be continued" tiff at dinner in Mission Beach between Dorit and Kyle as the rest of the group watches the back and forth like a tennis match - and cringes as conversation devolves into a tangent about John Mellencamp's daughter, courtesy of Garcelle....

Updates on the case as it stands with a disclaimer that Luigi should be viewed as a suspect, innocent until proven guilty, not definitively guilty until that is proven in court. Analyzing details of his online footprint and alleged evidence has provided more seemingly hidden messages that are reviewed before asking questions that arise when debating his connection. The topic that super cedes all o...

In what may be one of the most entertaining episodes of any Real Housewives franchise, we bear witness to several mic drop moments from women who have honed skills of verbal battle. Early on, we see our gruff Tater Todd, arms folded, and delivering a stern performance review of "did not meet expectations" to his direct report. Then, a fairytale presentation of Mary's Breakfast at Tiffany's event i...
