Hebrews 6:19 tells us that "We have this as a sure and steadfast anchor of the soul" who is our Great High Priest, Jesus Christ. Because of Christ alone, we can have a deep assurance of our eternal salvation that ignites in us a hunger for righteousness and a desire to share this truth with the world. 

Hebrews 6 provides strong warnings against those who refuse to truly trust in the Gospel, yet the author also desires to assure true believers of the security of their salvation in Christ. In this teaching, Pastor Nathan walks through the incredible assurance that we can have of our salvation that is not based on our performance but on the very character and nature of God Himself.

In Hebrews 6 the author provides a vivid picture of two soils in order that we may better understand the nature of true salvation versus a false faith.
