While our physical campus is still closed due to coronavirus, our ministry team has been hard at work creating digital content in order to connect with our church online! This week, we continue our sermon series "Jesus Is Greater." Pastor Lee teaches on Matthew chapter 6.

While our physical campus is closed due to COVID-19, the people of Heights Baptist Church gathered around kitchen tables and on living room couches to live stream our weekly worship service. This week, Pastor Lee takes a few minutes to update us regarding our ministry plan during this COVID-19 crisis, and shares a message with us from Acts 16. Pastor Lee continues in our spring series called "Outcasts: Friends of Jesus." This week, we meet a paralytic man, and a group of friends who will literally tear a hole in the roof so that he can see Jesus. Luke 5:17-26.

We've all heard the saying, "God won't give you more than you can handle." But is this really something the Bible teaches? Or have we gotten it twisted? Matthew 7:1 says "Do not judge," but we make judgments about people all the time. Have we twisted the meaning of "do not judge" to mean something other than what Jesus is teaching us in the passage? Matthew 7:1-6. 

Pastor Lee begins a new series called "Twisted: What Does the Bible Really Say?" In this first message of 2020, we look at Jeremiah 29:11 in its proper context. God has a plan to prosper you, just not the way you might think.

Christmas is over, but we all remember what it was like last week when we were making last-minute preparations for the Christmas season. Pastor Matt concludes our series in the first chapters of Matthew by introducing us to John the Baptist, who prepared the way for the coming of Jesus. Matthew 3:1-12.

The safest and most dangerous place to be is in the center of God's will. Pastor Lee teaches from Matthew 2 about how our God is a protecting God.

What is our greatest need? Pastor Lee continues our Christmas sermon series, God With Us , by showing us how God meets our deepest needs in Jesus. Matthew 1:18-25.

Special guest Kevin Greeson served as an IMB missionary for over 20 years. Kevin shares about becoming a part of what God is doing in order to reach people of different religions and ethnic backgrounds, even in our own community.
