Hearth, Home and Homicide

What if you had three wonderful children and two of them decided to kill the third.  Would you stop it?  

Chris Benoit was funny, loveable, playful, determined and World Champion Professional Wrestling's darling.  He was beloved as was his wife Nancy, and their 7-yr old son Daniel.  They had everything and they were everything to each other.  Why did it have to end?

Salt of the Earth.  Loving and kind.  Such was a place called Ontonagon, Michigan and a woman who was the quintessential sister and daughter to all who knew her.  And she was murdered by the one family member who was supposed to love, honor and cherish her.  He almost got away with it.  

A hard-hitting, brilliant, well-regarded scion of the community is bludgeoned so viciously his brain winds up spilled onto his back.  Who murdered the great man is not the question...The police know for sure it was the quiet, unassuming only son to the exclusion of all others.  But are they right?

A young boy excels at everything his father chooses for him to endeavor.  As an adult, he loves deeply and hates deeply.  And he amasses a firearms arsenal with which to write his life story.  

Mae Greineder raised three highly successful children who were doctors and accomplished business professionals.   Now, she was changing her appearance, going back to school and launching a new post-empty-nest career.  She was bludgeoned to death before getting the chance to live her new life by her husband who was living a double life.  

A determined woman seeks a lifestyle that means never going without.  She longs to have it all but when her family cannot give her that, she turns to arsenic.   Is she a monster?  A serial killer?  Or is she more complicated than that?  

A successful family experiences wealth as well as tragedy and keeps moving forward with purpose.  One family member is unable to keep up with this positive evolution.  He makes a decision to betray and destroy the very people who tried to help him.

Two infants are adopted into a family of devoted, loving and giving parents.  One works and studies and becomes a productive member of society and the other finds killing his parents to be a far easier and more appealing option to get what he wants. 

Family is the heart of humanity.  Love, belonging, intimacy, protection, shared future -- these are some of the  reasons we long for family.  One man longs for family in order to enrich himself by killing, over and over.  

A man lives a life involving world travel and evangelical superstardom.  But he's not real.  And one day he sees something he wants and he annihilates his family to have it.  

A good man is murdered and made to disappear.  His mother believes he is still alive and over seventeen years of searching, her efforts to find him singlehandedly bring his killers to justice.

Our episode one of Malignant Pretender stopped suddenly for technical reasons and we produced the dramatic conclusion in a part two.
