Crenshaw, Fence, and Thraivol talk with Ruda Goldbraid, the Blacksmith. Fence wants the magic of his spear increased, and Crenshaw wants information. Then our heroes move next door to Ruda’s cousin’s shop, Sophia Huff, the armorer. Finally, the party heads out to scope out the districts in Dan and get eyes on the entrances to the Inner Keep where they Scarlett Antwerp resides.

Our monster hunters leave Oakland and venture north to Sacramento. There has been a murder and other bizarre going ons at UC Davis and the police chief there has called in her buddy Marvin Horner and the Nyctophonbics Anonymous crew to see if they can get to the bottom of things....

Before pursuing Scarlet Antwerp back to Isk-Dan, the party search the Crypt of the Sun Lord for additional treasure. Prism crystal scorpions, steam mephits, and a hidden library await them! Mouse, Field Mouse rushes into the library and ghost librarians awaken! Will our heroes defeat them? Will they be able to continue their quest to bring the treacherous Scarlet Antwerp to justice!

9pm and our monster hunters arrive at the PLuM a seedy bar just north of Lake Marritt. The fog is thick and the crowd somewhat sparse because of the curfew.... although those gathered in the PLuM have all decided to ignore it.... Adison, the flakey paranormal investigator, has assured the rest of the team that the werewolves will be here. And there certainly appears like three suspects have gather...

Bina, Prima 122, and Matriarch feature in this short bonus episode before we get to the concluding episode of the first mystery. We learn about Bina's relationship with Penny, Prima 122's corporate spy bot background, and Mat's house boat, The Fixer's Hope.

Bina, Mat, and Prima 122 jump off a 53 storey building. Adison and Marvin arrange for the ABC Channel 691 News helicopter drone pilot to drop off three foldable hang gliders. Our monster hunters return to Kaiser Park near the Fox Theater as they close in one the werewolves and learn more about the even more sinister Red Queen Industries (RQI)....

Our hunters are inside the Old Dellums Federal Building. While they're investigating RQI, a protest has turned into a riot in the courtyard. Will Matt and Bina get off the roof of the skybridge? After leaving the Smoke, our group of monster hunters makes their way to the old Dellums Federal Building, now the headquarters for Red Queen Industries (RQI). Our hunters head towards the Smoke, a pot shop and dispensary, near Lake Merritt. Bina and Matriarch talk with Maggie, who has seen people "getting all hairy and going mad." Adison Stone and Marvin Horner explore around, and Prima 122 follows trying to remain out of sight. Plus, we learn about Matriarch's houseboat.

Well it's 6:15am in game time.... foggy and cold, and Adison Stone and Marvin Horner are once again standing along side crime scene tape.... Matriarch continues to try and charm people with her fake IDs, Bina talks to ghosts, and Prima 122 watches it all from a rooftop. We meet Jon's character, Adison Stone, and Andrew's character, Marvin Horner. Adison is a flake, an investigator of the supernatural and other things that go bump in the night, and Marvin is an ex-cop, corporate security, a gumshoe, who despite his own misfortunes still believes the law must always be followed. They join the Nyctophobics team of hunters.... and we get the hook of a mystery...

It's Oakland 2123, and it's night all the time....The HAUS Rules Gaming Collaborative dives into Monster of the Week. Carl introduces MOTW as our new gaming system for this season. Clara, Lillian, Hannah, Jon, and Evan start to create characters. We imagine a world that has a strong Shadowrun vibe to it, but that will be all about solving mysteries and hunting monsters.

Our heroes level up to 10th! They investigate the treasures they have acquired -- short swords and potions from Vogel, the Blade of the Sun Lord, and of course the Shard of the Sun itself! They strategize about what to do next -- go and fight Scarlet Antwerp! And they must figure out what to do with the pulsating, radiating Shard!

Invisible Tharivol and Aspen Kutcher slip away from Scarlet, Snarl, and Ziege the Small. Fence convinces Claren and Mouse, Field Mouse that healing up is the smarter course of action rather than racing after their enemies in their injured state. Fence presents The Great Sword, the Blade of the Sun Lord, to Claren.

Death saves for Tharivol. Scarlet and her minions blinded in the darkness. One large enemy swordsman in combat with Claren and Fence. The Sliver of the Sun dumped into Claren’s Bag of Holding. The battle seems balanced on the edge of a knife.

Scarlet Antwerp and three of her henchmen engage in combat with the party. The Silver of the Sun that one of them is carrying continues to emit radiant energy weakening the party. Fence engages an opponent wielding a giant two handed sword that almost seems to glow. The blows are heavy between the two of them.

Our heroes carefully interrogate  the drow mage they have captured. Crenshaw uses his telepathy to query the bound, blindfolded, and gagged prisoner, whose name is Vogel Altig. They learn that Scarlet Antwerp and her group only need....

Crenshaw holds the bullettes in place with a hypnotic spell. Mouse Field Mouse comforts the young bulette. The drow elf casts gaseous form on himself and slips mostly out of his bounds and tries to float-run away; however, Fence and Claren are having none of it.

Our heroes defeat the last two golden statues warriors who are caught in a web. The party goes north and northwest into the naturally “chewed” tunnel system. They see a baby bullette. Tharivol wants it as a pet. Everyone else thinks this is a bad idea....

Our heroes are chasing the drow who has taken Drake, but they slam into a group of statues who animate. The statues seem determined not to let our heroes pass.

Although Fence attacks the skeletons playing chess, they engage the party in dialogue. Crenshaw and Tharivol strike up a lively conversation, and Crenshaw ends up taking over one of the sides in the game of chess.

What happens to the treefrog commando assassins trying to take over the Gherkin? What about Stabbi? Can his body be found? The questions at the end of the Battle by the Frogfolk Village will be answered, and then we learn what is next for Immortalia and those questing after the Well of Dragons!
